IS THAT?
It woke me up, I could feel the BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ vibrating through my pillow, under my ear and it woke me up. I checks my phone, not me, so what is it??? I tried to get back to sleep but it kept waking me up so I got up and checked hubbys phone, not him either. My son sleeps in the room above ours so I went up the stairs and listened at the door, the BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ vibrated through the door and tickled my ear drum it was in there!!! So at 5 am this morning I had to route around his bedroom in the dark to try and find his rotten mobile phone that was not only vibrating but singin at the top of its voice, it was his alarm!! What on earth had he set it for 5am for he dont surface from bed till after dinner LOL!!! I did eventually get back to sleep but how bizarre that the vibration woke me up like that and I could actually feel it through my pillow!!!!
Has anyone else had any strange in the night wake up calls recently? Does anyone else get disturbed from sleep at stupid hours by others in their house or around them?

Maybe he had something planned for early this morning and has now missed it!
OR
One of his friends set the alarm that early as a joke and he didn't know anything about it - lol

Hi Gemini
Sounds like a fun morning for you!
Yesterday morning I woke to at about 6am to be greeted by my 3 year old daughter who had crawled into bed next to me and was busy cuddling up- but was fast asleep too. The strange thing was that I have no idea of how long she had been there, it could have been 5 mins or 5 hours! She must have snuck through at some stage and just climbed in without diturbing me.
I don't mind the kids coming for a cuddle in the morning, but don't ever encourage them to spend the night in our bed, so not sure what happened this time, but it was quite cute to wake up to her cuddling in.

Awww that is so sweet, we dont encourage our kids to come in bed with us either but it would be sweet just to wake up and find them there!

It was very sweet, but then she woke up and I had to get up and turn the TV on for her and get her something to drink ... 5 mins after getting back into bed I was joined by her twin for a quick snuggle and after he had departed for the attraction of early morning kids TV, we were joined by our 5 year old.
As soon as he had departed, #1 was back demanding cereal - and all this before 6.30am on a Saturday!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Only joking, it was actually a very nice morning with them all joining us in waves (as it were) and then moving on.

Hi gemini,
Ohh..that was a fun morning! LOL!
Here, I am pissed off to be awaken by my body, I always pee early morning and it wakes me up a lot...I hate to stand but can't also sleep! LOL!
I wish I will minimize this!

Thursday night, my husband and I went to bed about eleven. About two in the morning, we were awaken by a loud sound. He jumped up and grabbed me, I jumped up and grabbed him. What is that loud loud noise. It was our smoke alarm, we got up and checked the house, there was nothing wrong. My husband opened the door to see if the landlord was up, he was standing in the hallway shrugging his shoulders, because he did not know why the alarm was screaming either. The alarm does not run by batteries, so we were not able to disarm it from our end. My poor cats were losing their minds from the sound, one of my cats ran under the bed. I am not sure what my landlord did, but many fourty five minutes later it finally stopped screaming. Not a good way to have to wake up, it scared the sh*t out of us

It is really amusing that your cellphone was ringing and the vibrations could be felt downstairs. Really very very effective cellphone!! Would definately like to keep the same cellphone to wake me up in the morning!! lol!! It can be also used to play pranks with the people.

The vibrations were that strong it sounded like it was in our room somewhere, it took me thirty minutes to figure that it was actually upstairs.

About a week ago my neighbor upstairs was playing her Music so loud it vibrated my place. The music was so loud that you could hear every word of it like it was in our place. And since she started playing it early in the morning it ended up waking me up, and of course when I mentioned something to my husband she was not at home so he could say something to her. At least you found your source and could do something about it.

When the cats are clawing the furniture I wake from a sound sleep. Since they spend more time in the house now they think that the furniture is their personal scratching post. This is especially true with Lotus. I caught her doing it this afternoon while I had my feet propped up on the ottoman! She started clawing at it. When I yelled at her she just looked at me with that bewildered look in her eye as if to say, hey it is mine!

Yeah but what i am getting at is that it was not the alarm that woke me it was the vibration through the ceiling. It vibrated through the ceiling and into my pillow!

yes my cats will wake me up running up and down the halls playing, or my son will be yelling at them to stop doing whatever they are doing and that will wake me up as well.

Poor you gemini, fancy setting your alarm for 5am when you dont need to!!! I bet you wasn't happy with your son, but luckily you were able to go back to sleep Did it not disturb your husband? Strange how you heard it and not your son especially since it was in his room.
I haven't come across anything as strange as this bet its funny now but obviously wasn't at the time!!! lol
