who is the best Goku or Vegeta???

hey people???who is the best among the saiyans ...its son goku or prince vegeta...is goku a perfect rival for vegeta...though both of them have reached their ssj4 levels...but goku reached first....among ur concept who is the best fighter???saiyans fight alone!!!!!!respond clearly with ur ideas...i expect more from u people....thanx happy mylotting......

Goku is CLEARLY the best of the best! Even though at the end of the series Goku and Vegeta were both matched evenly, during the entire series of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and the beginning of Dragon Ball GT Goku has always been at the top then when Vegeta catches up Goku is already one step ahead of him. If the show would have kept going goku probably would have been able to do a Super Sayin 43 if he wasn't stuck in a little kids body! And Goku even says in the show that he couldn't reach even close to the energy and strength that he could have if Goku would have been in his adult body!

I totally agree that Goku is the best of the best. If I remember correctly Vegeta was "sloppy" in his fighting whereas Goku seemed meticulous and controled. Goku is always the one who comes out on top and saves everyone even Vegeta. I think part of what makes him amazing is that he knows his limitations an accepts them.

Goku beats Vegeta no matter what. Although Vegeta's attitude and power makes him one sweet character, Goku is just far more powerful. Goku became Super Saiyan first. Vegeta never made it to Super Saiyan 3. But, I think Gohan is actually the best. I don't know, that's just how I see it.

Hello gunagohan! I am not really that fan of dragonball but for the sake of this discussion, I would say that goku is the best. He is the protagonist there so probably, he is the greatest.

i think goku is the best and the most hilarious one.
he is a true fighter and fights for the people.
but vegeta fughts for pride and dignity.
Goku can be controlled unlike vegeta

A real saiyan is a merciless fighter, wants to fight for all his life and will kill anyone in his path. i think Vegetta is more fitting to be called a real saiyan rather than Goku. As in the story Goku was a wild kid when he was adopted by Gohan and accidentally Goku bumped his head losing all his memory as a saiyan and his mission to destroy earth. After that incident Goku become a kind and innocent child. Goku is not a real saiyan warrior.
