Terror acts; will they ever end?

Today, all around the world we are affected by terrorism. No part of the world; be it the developed western world or the not so developed Asian region, the acts of terrorism are on the rise all the time. And despite of all the country's governments taking stringent measures to curb this menace; terrorists are almost striking at will and carrying on these gruesome acts of killing and violence.
What worries me is the materialistic attitude of the younger generation, and especially how for money they are ready to do everything. They are not bothered by the fact that something is good or bad,; if it can help them in making fast bucks, they would do that act. Most of these astray young men who become terrorists are lured into this world by the amount of money they are offered as well.
Is there a way to wipe out this menace from the face of earth?
Please suggest ways; so that our world could be a better place.

How I wish I could disagree with you, my friend. The problem is, you're absolutely right. Since I teach 12th grade English, I spend most of my time with teens who will often do anything at all for money, and just about nothing without a cash payoff. It's a horrible thing. Add those who are fanatics and think they're doing the right thing, and the world is a very frightening place!

While this might seem naive, I hope Barack Obama's push for taking action to help improve our communities and help others will help. I can't think of anything else that would, at this point.

I agree with you, it is a very sad thing. But in the world we are living you cannot do anything without money. I mean, you can work and earn enough for living, but sometimes you just want to work less and do whatever you want to do, and for that you need money. So its like a vice, you want everything for money, its a desaerasse but what can be done about it?

Thanks a lot for commenting back Madam! Our astray young teenagers are indeed the most vulnerable ones in this situation. And I think that they are definitely among the prime targets of these terror bosses; who are looking to recruit young cadres in their terror spreading army.
And especially in those countries where unemployment is a big problem; there is definitely no dearth of such astray young men looking for avenues to make fast bucks.
Thanks a lot; very well said.

I hope terror acts would end but to be honest I don't think will happen anytime soon. It is really scary and heartbreaking at the same time. I've seen the local news here in my country and I've seen the kidnapping of some red cross members. This people are trying to help and save lives and what have they done to them in return. People will do just about anything for money.

Ya! It is a sad state of affairs my friend, and the soultion does not seem very near. Although controlling the supply of money would definitely cut down the arms and ammo supplies to these people.

Personally I cannot see these Terrorist acts ending anytime too soon, and I think we will continue to see people offering young Men and women extreme amounts of $$ to do things like this, and most of them never to Stop and think of the consequences it could cost them as well.
From the Biblical standpoint of things the only day that this will end is when Christ comes again to take his people home. So the only thing that can change and wake up some of these people to Save them and many others in my opinion is Prayer and a desire for them to want to change as well.

I wish it was as simple as you put it dear friend!!
It is reallly painful to see lives end in seconds which take years of rearing and bearing the pains of Labour to come upon this world.
I sometimes feel too helpless about all this! ALthough i do try to vent out my feelings through my words; but sometimes it seems that even that is not enough.

I really do not have any idea how this will end. I guess these terrorist are some hard headed people that really thinks they could do solved the world's problem by sowing more trouble to get what they wanted in their lives. I think they have some points they are fighting for but the means to get it is quite wrong for me. So I guess it will just be a long cycle and the end is really not clear when this will end.

i totally agree with that nowdays what really matters to every one is money which is not wrong but i think it should not be at the cost of others life.for money youngsters are following all wrong ways to earn money not thinking twice is it good or bad for them.this is really very sad.terrorism is spreading at a fast rate and it is going out hand and nobody actually knows how to end it and save our planet from killing all those innocent out there.the best way to stop it is try giving out better and promising job opportunities to young people to prove themselves.the system should run smoothly equal for everyone.corruption should be completely removed.and for this change we should not rely on others to end we should start from our side as an indiviual.instead of raising fingers at others start from our end.

i think it is really hard to change those narrowed minded people most of them are racism that's why. well, i don't think people like me can make a change. Only to get rid of them or change their mentality would work. i dont mean to offend either. It is just a thought. :)

I know what you said actually reflects the fact that you are a compassionate person who feels concerned about the state of affairs prevailing at the moment.
This outburst is indeed quite natural!
Let's hope that these people realize the magnanimity of the felony that they are doing by indulging in these dastardly acts of violence.

A bullet for a bullet; and an eye for an eye! Come on dear friend! We are not terrorists! We can't me like them. The little sanity that is left in this world; is because of us; the god fearing people.
But i am sure we can dry up their supply of bullets! ANd without them, their weapons would just be useless pieces of metal. What do you say...?
Even i used to think so eadically 3-4 years earlier, but now probably my aging sense has given me a more sensible perspective.
I don't criticize you; rather i join in the frustration that we feel from deep within against these inhumane acts. The 90 odd minutes footage of Twin-towers crumbling down is still fresh in my mind.
But still, i would say, that tactical battle would be better anytime...

i think terrorism acts is mainly due to govt and politics. as long as there is govt and politics, there will always be some degree of terrorism. if somehow, by some miracle, govt and politics can be eliminated, we might eventually have some peace and happiness.

Very true! If these powerful world leaders join hands against this menace; i am sure this whole thing will not last even a single more day.
But the main problem is leaders; who have vested interests, which is keeping them away from finding a solution to this plague.

One of the ways is to attack terrorism where it hurts the most..financially. It takes money to carry out these acts and if the funding sources can be attacked a good bit of the battle can be won. That being said, terrorism will continue to exist in some form or another as long as long as places of worship and leaders of religious faith allow rhetoric that suggests that true believers perpetrate acts of violence and hatred, as long as governments allow hatred to be preached in their schools, and as long as governments offer terrorists safe harbor in their countries. What's amazing to me is that people who claim to have such a deep religious faith, can at the same time have so little regard for human life and that their religious leaders not only condone these acts but actively encourage the commission of these kinds of acts.

Unfortunately, I donĀ“t see a solution for this problem any time soon, because as you mentioned, young people are getting more involved in these ideas of terrorism, the only way to finish with that mentality is precisely this, changing the way they think, with the renovation of their thoughts, something that Jesus Crist has taught us but I guess this is irrelevant for islamics, all WE can do is pray and teach our children that war is not the answer, after all in their hands lies our future.

I used to think that terror is a legal weapon of a people that could not fight a real army. But no more. If you just spend a second thinking, without entering if they are right or not, how much money has been put in arms in the arab middle east nations, and how much the civilians lacks in the day to day life, you will realize that this stupid war is insane. A rocket cost about 15.000 each.

What's the terrorist?I can't explain that.I only know that where there is oppression, wherever there is resistance. All the conflicts are from some people would like to unify the thinking of the others. What were they up to it?
There is no doubt, they impose their will on the other people. They view themselves as the compulsory introduction of the concept of the right.Terroism is just a appearance, not the nature. History has proved that as long as human exist in the world, terrorism will not cease.
