Sometimes I worry that its not healthy to be watching that stuff all the time but I find it so intriguing. Not that people are dying! BUT you learn alot of science and I love Science. Discovery channel is also my favorite and I watch DR. G Medical Examiner too. I think that show will saves lives with the information they give. Like so many people dying of unnecessary means like lung disease, heart disease and assualt on the body. But mostly the shows that I worry about is the First 48, Cold Case Files, Forensic Files and these sort of shows. I believe in positive and negative energy and sometimes Im thinking 'Is this negative energy going to rub off into my life'?? I've talked to alot of my friends and they even watch these shows but if I knew men who watched it like me, Im not gonna lie, I'd be kind of worried. I know one of the first shows I used to watch was Trauma:Life in the ER and that was over 6 years ago but my BF could not stand me watching that show so thats how I moved on to Forensic files and so far he has not complained but I imagine it has him wondering why Im so perplexed by these shows. Do you think its weird?

No I don't think it is weird at all. it is just like some guys who love watching sports and watch it 24/7. e.g. they order channels that are dedicated to only sports. Or people that watch music videos on MTV all day. Nothing too weird about that unless it starts to interfere with your life. Since you're so interested in forensics, have you thought of a career in that field? That way, you can satisfy your thirst for knowledge while making a living off of it?

oh yea, definately ive thought about it but I just wonder if theres negative energy...you know maybe its all in the way you look at it, so if I feel like Im helping people then the negative aspect would not bother me so much

I LOVE the same kind of shows as you do, I watch anything that has to do with forensic stuff I even catch myself, as I go through the day, like if I touch something I say hey I just left a fingerprint LOL or if I go outside I look all around me all the time at other people and watch what they are doing you know trying to figure out if there is going to be a bank robbery or something then I will know what to tell the police when they come to talk to me lol. I don't think that it's a bad thing I think it has just made me more aware of what people are doing around me. It has also made me aware of the people I know if their behaviors start to change I start paying attention. I am going to continue to watch those shows

I do not think that it is weird that you watch these shows. I too am very interested in these types of shows. They give you an insight that you would not normally get. I also do not feel that it would give you negative energy in your life. It is a reality that this exists.

Hey, the truth your not weird just because you like that kind of programs, i like it that programs too and im not weird lol!!, I see them every night on television and I like a lot because every day i can learn interesting things that did not know beyond that, also tell us stories that are quite interesting so for me to see that type of program leaves us many lessons that many of us dont know, personally me i do not lose even a chapter on these kind of programs and when i see it them i can tell you that i really enjoy a lot. But my mom lol, does not like this but i hahaha can only tell you that i love and do not exchange this programs for nothing in the world!! well have a nice day and hope you will have a very good week ;) see ya soon and bye bye. :)

To be honest, I don't see a problem with you watching the type of programs that you do. Quite frankly, you are probably learning a lot. Who knows maybe you will find this to be your calling. Have you ever considered possibly becoming a Crime Scene Investigator? I have actually talked to a few people that have learned so much that they actually did get into the field themselves and are now happy with the career move. If your boyfriend had a problem with what you were watching, maybe he should have simply watched with you one time, he might have come up with the idea as well, that it might be a new career path that is calling you. Just a thought.

I asked that same question about myself, but I don't think that its weird to watch those type of shows they are interesting and the best thing on tv to me compared to the other shows that are on. I like watching the shows and coming up with possible suspects my faves are the first 48, snapped, csi miami, and forensic files.
