what age would you start to start feeling you're getting too old if you're not married? and might as well throw in, what age do you want to have kids? at what age would you think a guy should get married(the age where if you're not married yet, you'd think something's wrong)

I think age 18 is fine to start dating as in looking towards a long lasting relationship. Many kids date at 16 or younger, but I think it is still too young for one on one type of relationships. If it is like a group thing like a dance or going to the movies with more than one couple 16 or 17 is fine. Serious dating should be put off until after high school, the teenage years are complicated enough without adding to it. As to marriage, in this country the divorce rate is high and many times when they get divorced a common complaint is they got married to young or grew apart or lost some of their youth because they rushed into it.
If you begin dating around 18, I think by the time you are 25 you will have a pretty good understanding of yourself and what you want in life and can then look for a person that compliments that. It is also a good age to begin to have children. You are still young enough to have them and when they turn 18 and leave the home you would still be young enough to do what you want with the rest of your life.
People are living well into the 80s why rush into marriage and children before you are ready. There is plenty of time to find the "right" one.
