The Bible says that if you seek Him first, everything else will go according to plan. I used to think that the "plan" would always be pleasant, but if the truth is known, it isn't. However, I am extremely thankful for each and every trial and tribulation that I must endure in order to inherit the Kingdom of God. Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to choose you and thank you for choosing me.

Sometimes the worst times are the best for one's spiritual walk. It's just like in Job, don't you think? I was reading Job today. Most people's first reaction is "Oh, that's terrible! Why would God let that happen to such a holy person?!" But after you think about it, it makes perfect sense. God trusted that Job knew what was important in life, and that what was important (God) could not be taken away from him as long as he held on.

The bible is a good book and I used to read it with the genuine desire to learn what wisdom it contains. Nowadays, I have found a number of ways of finding some good ideas and a lot of them come from within me when I sit in meditation. Cheers!!
