myLot is using English for all the discussion. I am so curious when all my friends start to learn English. In Hong Kong, children start to learn English from kindergarten. I learn A to Z in there and sing some simple English song. How about you? HaPpY MyLoTtInG!

Hello rrobinv! I started to learn English since I was in Kindergarten too. In our country, english is included in every curriculum in every school so that's why many filipinos are actually good in speaking the english language.

Although my mother is a teacher, she didn't have the time to teach me how to speak in english. I learned it from school started in the kindergarten wherein they taught us the abc's. Also some nursery rhymes that we always sang before or after the class. Learning english for me was not that easy since i have to learn it step by step but atleast, i learned it better than learning nothing at all.

I started to learn English even not yet entering Grade 1. My mother taught me English as she taught me writing and reading also. I also love to watch cartoons in which characters are speaking English.I can say that it is not that hard for me to learn the language because my parents sometimes talk to me in English.I also love reading books weather it is written in our native language or in English language. Whenever I encounter difficult words especially in English, I run to my mother and ask her how to read that certain word. And after that, I used to ask her what is the meaning of those words. When I am playing with other children, I also tell them what I am studying at home. I tell to them some English terms I had learned with my mom. I feel so confident also when I enter Grade I because I can easily relate with what our teacher is saying to us on English. I can say that I learned English so good because I always included English in my daily activities. As the old cliche goes "Practice makes perfect." And I can absolutely says that those words are true.If you always put into practice whatever you are learning, it can easily retain in your mind. I thank my parents especially my mother who taught me the language. From what they did on my learning, I can say that I am not left behind in relation to English language.
