What do you think of the difference of family between china&western countries?

There's a boy who loves me more than I love him,and my parents tried to persuade me to marry him and have a good relationship with his family,but could a relationship be on a basis like that? we don't have much in common,and the more he loves me the more I feel guilty for him,we have different hobbies and we don't know what the other is thinking about or worrying about,we're totally different kinds of people,..... My parents got married before they didn't even see each other once!apparently, it's the old times style,people nowadays recognize marriage as the most important thing in one's life,so they choose their lover very serious in order to have a good relationship in the whole life,and as well,they have high expectation on each other,they hope their lovers to know what they are thinking of, and understand what they 're doing for the family,but unfortunately,they could easily find out the problem between couples no sooner than their honeymoon or a few years,so some of the family members agree to divorce and later they're looking for someone else who can more understanding and thoughtful and ....,it can't be more usual by seeing that things happen nowadays,I was thinking if I marry someone I've never seen,maybe I won't have so many thoughts on how to love my husband or how to be loved by others but instead we'll focus more on daily things---to do work hard and buy good things to wear and eat,that's it.
