I am from India and for the last few months I have been pursuing a few of the PTC sites.
I need to transfer funds in US Dollars to Paypal or Alert pay.
I have no wish to use any credit card due to the risk of misuse involved.
Is there any way out? Can any one provide any suggestions in this regard?
I am sure there must be others like me who are from India and are facing similar problems. Please come forward and let us share informations to solve this riddle.

Hi there,
I am from India too.
If you want to transfer funds to your Paypal or alertpay account, then you can link your account to your bank account in india.
Then whatever will be the exchange rate of ruppe and dollar, it will be used to convert your rupees to dollars, and thus the amount you choose to be deposited in your paypal or alertpay account will be transferred.
This method is definitely better than using credit card. But as paypal/alertapy are secure sites, there is no need to worry about using credit cards there. But its always better to be on a safer side.
If you want to know about how to link your bank account to the paypal/alertpay account then you can ask me here, and i will tell you.
Happy mylotting.

Hello Jakes
Many thanks for your advice. Yes it will be really helpful if you let me know how
I can link my bank account (my bank is the INDIAN BANK)to paypal or Alertpay.
I have a Visa Debit card. The bank has informed me that this VISA debit cannot be used for Online transactions. Still I tried linking it to the Paypal account but was rejected.
A friend of mine tried his Master Debit card but to no avail. Will there be any issue regarding the FOREX?
Thanks again.

I don't know about Forex. But mostly credit cards are accepted there, maybe debit cards are not accepted as you are saying you tried doing so.
And, I checked about linking your bank account to the paypal/alertpay account, and found that only US banks are allowed for transferring funds.
But you can link your bank account for transferring funds from your paypal account to bank account.
Currently for adding funds to paypal account, for indians, there is only an option of using the credit card. But dear, why do you want to add funds to your paypal account, because see, adding funds is no problem, but when you want to take your money back, then there is a hefty FEE CHARGE.
Anyways, its your choice. I'll try and help you as much as i can, you can ask me anything about this if you want to know more.
And if i find that paypal allows Indian banks also, I'll tell you that very moment.
Have a nice day!

I use http://transfernshop.com for switching funds between paypal and alertpay.
They are good
Realiable
Professional
Quick
Trustable
In past I have lost some money (around $2267) while transferring because they took my fund and didn't credited my other account and never replied to my message. So now I'm settled with this one and even if someone tries to lure me with lower charges, I do not try them.
try it with a small amount like $10 if you are not sure

I'm looking at this site and I'm afraid i don't want to loose my money and paypal and alertpay say that's not legal to exchange and i saw on the agreement of this site that is photo proof and address proof needed is that really necessary?
As you can see i'm really afraid i think i have to take the risk... idk

No I don't think Photo or ID proof is needed.
I won't even suggest to submit that one. If they are asking, just tell them you can't provide it (to my surprise it works, I never gave them those).
But I don't understood why this site looks fraud to you? But still if you want you can give a try by transferring some small amount.
(If you got confused because I said I lost money? Then I'm sorry. That happened with another site which I used. I think I should have previewed my message before submitting, but I'm bit lazy;-) )
