Ghosts in your home?

Have you ever felt like there is a ghost(s) living in your home? Have you seen a ghost in your home?
In my old house, my husband and I both swear there was a ghost living there too. Every night we would hear the same noise coming from the back of the house and it was around the same time. It sounded like a door closing only no one else was home and we were in the living room watching TV. We got used to it after awhile.
Now we live in a new home and a few things have happened to convince me there is a ghost here. The main thing that happened was that I was getting ready to cook a nice dinner. I set the over temp to 350 and I put the pot roast in the oven. About 20 minutes later I could really smell it cooking, which was strange because it was supposed to cook much longer and I wouldn't normally be able to smell anything after only 20 minutes so I got up to check on it and the temp on the oven was all the way to 500 degrees! I know for a fact that I did not put it at 500. My food was ruined because it cooked too fast at too high of a temp. I guess the ghost didn't want that for dinner. Lights have been turned on that were off. The air-conditioner was turned from COOL to HOT without me ever touching it.
Just really weird things..
What about in your home?

It may sound weird at first encounter but once you are able to accept that it does happen then start to befriend the ghost in your home.

I have always been a sceptic in things relating to the supernatural. I have always looked for the rational explanations behind things. However events have made me question whether ghosts really do exist.
Luckily things seem to have eased off a bit for me at the moment. But strange as this will sound... things keep moving and going missing. Wires and gloves are the main culprits. Things that I know noone would want to steal!
There was one incident where I was in my hallway and my daughters glove was on the floor... I picked it up and noticed the other one by the rabbit food in the corner. As I already had my hands full I went upstairs to put the other stuff away and came back down for it. It wasn't there Ok obviously I must have picked it up and forgotton! So I carried on tidying and putting things away in the hallway. The next day the pink glove was just sitting on the floor in the hallway! Now I know it hadn't been there previously.
It's lot's of silly things like that... either I am going completely mad or the possibility of ghosts is alot more real than I have ever considered before!

There have been a couple of weird things happen in my home. We bought this home brand new and had it put here 10 years ago. I have a touch lamp that i used to have in my bedroom. It would turn itself on. I moved it into my dining room and it has not turned itself on one time. My fireplace also turns itself on. It has an artificial electric insert in it and it has a remote or manual button to trun it on. It turns itself on sometimes. Neither one of those have done it in a while though. We live close to a cemetery and I am not sure if that has something to do with it or not.

Well, none that I know of!!! I have never really believed in ghosts, but always believe in the possibility of them. I have a friend who swears they had a ghost in an old farm house they were living in. A door that wouldn't stay closed. A figurine they had on a mantle piece would always move to a different spot. All things that would happen when they were not at home and no one was there. They even called the ghost "Clyde". I would love to have this happen in my home. For proof if for no other reason!!!

Well, I don't believe really in Ghost.. So, I can't say anything about ghost in our house since I know that there's no ghost in our house.. Actually, some of our neighborhood sometimes asking us if we aren't scared during at night in our house since they knew that there are ghost inside our house.. Before we bought that house, our neighborhood told us that most of the time nobody is living in that house since the previous owner of the house always out of town.. The house for us doesn't look like a haunted house, its just an ordinary house.. And we don't feel anything that our neighborhood usually telling us.. I guess our neighborhood were just frightening us but no matter what they've said I know that there's nothing in our house.. Its only human imaginations that visualize or fear their self..

Well there are really bad spirits inhibiting inthis world as there were fallen angels being thrown here after they were conspiring w/ the devil during the war in heaven years before. They are disturbing people's lives by trying to make themselves a ssomebody else. They maybe labelled as ghosts but they are plain devil w/ evil spirits scaring people in anyways. The only thing to throw them out from your house is to pray to God to get rid of them and even tell them that God is more ppowerful than anyone else.

We've had several paranormal experiences in my home and they mostly occured after my aunt had passed away due to injuries sustained from a car accident. We had cupboard doors opening, closing, the water turning on and off. We also had footsteps happen in the house and when checked we could never find anyone. Sometimes we'd hear voices and try to find out where they were coming from it'd be hard to find them because they'd just disappear.
We haven't heard anything in quite awhile or really experienced anything that we feel is really paranormal.

I must admit i'm a sceptic, but i'm open enough to believe it IS POSSIBLE.. after all anything is possible unless its PRoven one when or another. . Now i think that the closest thing that's ever happened to be that could be considered paranormal, is often i get a draft of cold air against my arms.. and no one else feels it, and i get real cold. . woo. big deal huh.
Apparently Nova scotia and Cape breton are VERY high in paranormal activity, like ghosts .. there is a show on tv called creepy canada and most all the episodes are things in NS.

Our last house was pretty creepy and some weird stuff happened all of the time. Like for example hearing bootsteps up stairs even though there was new carpet down!! Now in this house I think my toddler sees something and sometimes he will just scream and will not go in to any of the bedrooms.

I think there is a spirit or spirits living in our home. We are fine with it since it seems to be nice. There is a day that my brother is inside his bedroom and he claimed that he have heard my mother's voice asking him to come out because she brought home lots of foods. When my brother went out he is all alone. They are times that people will say that they thought someone is standing in our doorstep. I think they are protecting us.

The only ghost that resides with me is the, Holy Ghost. Any other spirit hast to go in the name of Jesus. I have had unexplained things happen around me, but nothing that I would put to a ghost. It sounds like whatever was in your first house, packed up and moved right along with you, LOL. Having never experienced anything like that, I do not know what to recommend.
If it were me though, I would get some anointing oil and dab it in different places all over the place and pray over my home. Whatever is not of God, is of the devil and I just wouldn't have it.

This is something I'm currently experiencing, but is something that has been a part of my life in the past. We used to live in a duplex in 2002, and the doors sat high off the floor. We'd leave the light on in the hallway for a little while as our children fell asleep, and we'd close our bedroom door if the TV was on . . . and we'd see shadows under our door along with the feeling of freezing cold. The stairways constantly creaked as though somone was walking up and down them. It freaked us out at first, but then we realized we were just all sharing the same dwelling.

Strangely enough, yes we've had some strange things happen in my apartment. My son has a guitar and I heard it's strings get played, one strumming, when there was no one near it. I have seen shadows and felt as though someone was near. My son has asked me, on a couple occasions, if I threw something at him when I did not. Anyway I just talk to them nicely and ask what they want or say OK you got my attention!

I think these activities are the results of a human in the disguise of a ghost. I am a non-believer of ghost. This is because of the fact that believing ghost is only responsible to form ghost! Give up your ghost belief and you will sure find, "God is everywhere!"
Thanks and have always nice and ghost free beliefs!

That is really weird indeed. I think there is something in yourselves that attracts these ghost into you. I know that there are people who are attracted to ghosts of some sort. I do not know but maybe you could ask someone who knows about paranormal about your condition. In my home there is really nothing we could really feel but so far. We have been there for sometime there were nights that were weird that all of a sudden something falls out of nowhere. I really do not know if there are just mice that is hovering around somewhere that causes it.

Yes, I actually have felt like there were ghosts, living in my home. There have been some extremely odd things that I have actually felt. There was one time when I was alone in my room and I swear that I felt icy cold hands touch my arms. But the strange thing is that it was during the summer, my window was opened, and I wasn't cold at all! I remember it to be a warm day. There have been times when I thought I'd catch a glimpse of someone going into a room, but in reality there was no one there.

No, so far our house is free from ghosts and other elements, I did not sense or feel such strange things and my family never felt something extraordinary unknown creatures. It's so creepy if our house has such like that since the area is so small, hehehe.

I never have this experience but I have recieved many news from my friends and relatives who have seen the ghost directly in a day time also in night time. In day time there was a very big palace like set of house is there in my friends village. It was the very big house in the area, but nobody is not there they were living in a foriegn country for past 4 decades. So that house was so empty but there is old man who safeguarding that palace will always talk about the ghosts and he informed to my friends they never believed it. So one day that old man who safe guarding the house have called my friends to an challenge, he said "One whole night if you guys stayed successfully in that palace I'll resign this job and I'll go back to my village, you people can earn my salary" to my friends.
All of them never believe the ghost and they have decided the date to stay in that palace. They have informed that old man, he agreed that date. After 3 weeks the old man on that date gave the gate key to the gang and left that house evening around 04.00 PM. These guys who all are had them dinner and went into the palace and shouted louder and called that ghosts vigorously, Nothing happen until 12.00 PM. One by one they slept finally 2 of them were not able to sleep they left that big hall and went to the another room quite big. That room lookwise threatened these 2 guys into shiver and fear. They were very close to the wall another 3 steps to touch the wall they catch each one of them hand and walked forward towards the wall ...they have walked nearly one...two....three........six...nine...still the wall was keeping same distance but they can't touch the wall, just they realised some foot steps behind them following. They don't want to turn around because now they have smelled a differend odour which have killed them badly...continues later.

I'm not sure if I believe in them either BUT even if we had an electrical fault in our home, that would not explain how the knob on my oven went from 350 to 500 on it's own. That doesn't happen unless someone reaches over and moves the knob, no electrical fault could do that. It's not electrical, it's a manual knob.

Then the possibilities can be that someone else would have done it, someone at your home, or someone else is playing prank on you (just guessing). Even you would have done it by mistake when you left your kitchen which you would have not remembered. These are just possibilities & my guesses.
