What Will You Eat When You Are Fever?

I was fever yesterday and slept the whole night from 7pm to 7am. I ate 2 tablets of paracetamol and slept straightly. According to my parents says, should not take oily food, chickhen and rice. Is it correct?

I would have fruit, baked potato, steamed vegetables. Lentil soup, maybe. Okra and asparagus. I am vegetarian, no meat.
