which operation system do you love?and which operation system do you use often?I like the windows,because the more software support it.but somebody love other operation system,what your ideas?

many people including me use windows because it has got a huge support for all applications especially games.. but to my opinion linux is outstanding. there is more than one point for it.
1. it is free. so no need of piracy
2. except games it supports every other applications
3. the security is fantastic
4. every task it performs it unbelievabingly transparent unlike windows which opens a whole bunch of unneccesary background programs hogging up the memory
5. you cannot find any virus for linux.
6. not only linux is free but also the softwares it provides like open office, mozilla, emacs...etc are free!!!
7. though the sheel commands need a bit time to get aquianted to , but after that it is remarkably fast.

i like Mac best .but sometimes u have to use windows because some services are not avilable on MAC. Well, i tried Ubuntu. But, its interface is just ugly. um,um.

I run vista natively and ubuntu 8.1 and mac os x leopard in vista as virtual machines. To be quite honest, linux is the best in my opinion for productivity. It is fast, lightweight and best of all free. Students who just want to buy a barebones computer and don't want to purchase an operating system should definitely consider linux as an option. Vista and Leopard are graphically more stunning than linux, but other than that, linux is pretty amazing.

For me i use windows because it is the only operating system that is not costly. I am using a windows-7 professional in my desktop. But in my laptop computer, i am using windows vista.
