Who are you closer, to your Mom or to your Dad?

I think for me, I am closer to my mom, because I am a girl, it is easier for a girl to get much closer to her mom. Mom cares about her daughter more than dad. Mom will care about everything, not only study, but also life, emotion and so on.

i used to be closer to my dad but when i saw him hurting my mom,disrespect her.I loose respect towards him..

I feel too closer to my mom only , but still i love my father a lot in my life he was my greatest love and everything in my life, unfortunately he already passed away before three years he was great scitenist in aero thermal test facilty department of space field, i lost him so much , i thjere is a next life i would like to be his son when he was alive i used to fight with him for silly reasons this discussion reminds me missing of hime in my future life, father i love u alot, i miss u so much noww, may god bless him all the day.

I would say mom she has always been there for me wether I be bad or Good I love here I don't remember my dada and he is not here so I wouldn't say him.

I am closer to my mom...right from my childhood days I spent a lot of time with my mom ...we talk about a lot of things ...my friends, her office friends...everything...even after my marriage she is still my good friend...I ask her a lot of recipes...she explains to me very clearly as if I am a small girl...yea for her I am still a small girl ;-) My dad is a dynamic person and I respect him a lot...he cannot stand a lie so I am little afraid of him...Only after my marriage I knew that he loved me the most...

Well, I would like to say that my mom is closer to me but that does not mean I don't love my father. You know, my mom could be my good friends while my father sometimes don't. And if I have someone to be my good listeners then my mom would be one of my best chioce, and it does always happen in my life.

i am very close to my mom.because when my father is bussinesman and he doesnt give that much time to me.

I am more closer to my mom than to my dad. I think it is because my dad was always out for work during my childhood days looking for money to feed us. But I do admire my father so much considering that he does his best to provide food on our table and and provide us basic needs. We had a lot of rough times but I am surely proud of how my father handled everything and how my mother supported him.

i am much closer to my mom. i am comfortable with her when i wanted to say something or anything. i guess its natural, for being a "mama's boy" or a daddy's little girl. but the important is, we are both loved by our parents. =)

I am more confortable being with my mom. Because I think the saying Opposite Attracts really is referring to the both of us... My mom is a nurse and I'm an engineer. . So we have to different worlds.. Unlike with my Dad who's an engineer as well.. we always argue on floor plans and circuit issues in the house. . quite irritating. .

I'm actually closer to my dad than my mom-even though he was more strict to us than her. I think this is because she was often at work, so I never really got to see her much. Although my dad also worked, he cooked us dinner and drove us to school, karate, etc. I don't love either of them less, I just feel I can talk to my dad more than my mom. My sister is the essentially the opposite.

My mom. Although i do a lot of activities with my dad too, especially since we both love the same sport, I do find that I spend more time with my mom and is more comfortable in discussing things with her. This isn't just about the gender differences/similarities though that indicate why i am closer to one parent or the other. It's just that my mom is really nurturing and I feel like she is better able to listen to me, more than my dad does since he is pretty strict in the family.

When I was a child, I closer to my dad because he is the one who always read fairy tale for me every night before I slept. My mom had a high blood pressure and she was easily angry and hit me. I feel really afraid and when I cried alone in my room, my dad always come and slept with me. He carry me from living room until my room every night..He always brought something for me after he back home, either food or toys.. Now I closer to my mom because my dad busy and I don't know since when, we don't know what to share again and he active in church and closer to my brother now.. But of course I love them both..

I am closer to my daddy. I havent even talked to my mom in 10 months and really don't care to until she can straighten out her life.

My mom, as my birthfather other wise known to me as "spermdonner" was not in my life after I turned 5...as that is when my mother kicked him out...since he was too busy with his life and girlfriends to be a part of us... so I would definitely have to say my MOM...LOL as I am now 37, and have a family of my own and my mother is a huge part of my life, and we have a link in the family to let us know anything about him if we wanted or cared to we are not interested...he is not a part of our lives at all.

For you it was obvious that you were close to your mam coz your dad traveled a lot. What if your parents had been with you most of the time, would you have still been close to your mam? For my case, I was close to both because they were with me most days. Now I have 2 kids, and I am not yet certain to whom my kids are close.

Myself...I am closer to my dad for sure. I have always been a DADDY'S GIRL! my mom has told me that when I was little I was ontop of my dad's shadow. No matter what he was doing I had to be doing it right along with him. I have never really had a close relationship with my mom which kind of sucks cause at times a girl needs her mother. My sister is closer with mom then dad. Me and my sister have been seperated since I was 14. I moved in with my dad and my sister stayed with my mom. SO that could also be a reason why I am closer with my dad then with my mom. I have also relized as I have grown and become a parent that I have my dad's ways and now I totally understand why he did some of those things I hated.....lol

My Dad! My mom was always saying I had to work more...I didn't like it. She just didn't understand me sometimes...my dad did.
