What will you do when you're at a loss, I mean you don't know how to make your choice in your career? If you choose to continue your former job, it will seems hard under the bad economic environment or you'll start a new career that you are familiar to it? I used to do some job about the trade, but quited it last year. I want to be an English teacher now, maybe to teach children. What will you do if you were me?

If I were in your own shoes, I will do what I know the right thing to do. In having a job, it is important that this is where you are familiar with and where your interset is . And it would be easier for me to work productively if I will choose a career which is related to my course. And if ever I will be given a chance to choose a career then I will choose the best one.And As long as I am doing the right job I just pray it to God and he will do the rest.

Satisfation in your job is one of the topics in our subject that i really like.Difficulty in making a choice is not an extra ordinary thing to me. Everybody, is experincing that problem, and it really makes your mind twirl. In fact i had a difficulty in choosing my course too. It's better in your part because you tried different situations. Moreover, for me, it's more better if you really analyze what you want in life. Crisis or not as long as you love and you have satisfaction in your job it's good.If i were you i'll follow my second option or the one that you're talking that you want to teacH children. You will not shift to another option if you are satisfied with the latter. Pursue your plan.

well of i were you i will choose the one which i like. Being an English teacher will be the one i will choose. we know that our econmic stability is not good because of crisis. Being a teacher which is in demand so that will be the one i'm going to choose. Aside from helping children, you know you will enjoy it because it is your line of expertise.

if i were you, i will continue what is being started. bieng an english teacher to kids is so difficult. adjustment is also needed if you are an english teacher. bit if you think that you are familiar in that field then so be it. as they said, find the field that you could plant a profitable fruit.

If you were to quit you have to make sure first that you will have a sure job. We are undergoing financial crisis now and life is hard. But if you really want to be a teacher, so be it. It is nice to share your knowledge to children who are in need. You will also be fulfilled if you follow what your heart desires. Anyway I think the salary of a teacher will already be enough for you. Follow your heart.

At our economic condition right now, it's not bad being practical. I mean, go to a job where you will earn high salary. Something that will give you a security financially. We all know that being a teacher will never elevate our social status specially being in public schools. Well that's my opinion, the end choice is still yours. You should carefully think about it because it's your future!^^

if i am you, i would choose the profession i want to be. maybe in this field i will continue contributing alot. i will also practice the knowledge and skills that i have. choosing a career that is appropriate to my skills is very good for my self. choosing it like a life time decision that i would not regret, because i choose it.

As far as economic problem is present and concern to your case the easiest way to recover that is to follow what you want in your life if u want to become a teacher why not but the problem is if there are schools that are in need in that position especially to what is your major is but if it is had to find that job it is better to taste the bitterness of your present job because we cannot skip on the economic problem that the country faces nowadays..
thank you

As far as economic problem is concern it is better to go at your own choice if you want to be come a teacher why not make sure that it is hard for you to find some schools to employ you in that position but if you know that its hard to find that position it is better to taste first the bitterness of your present work that to resign to your position because economic problem is your main enemy in that certain scenario when it comes to your profession but again it is better to apply what you had study to expose your knowledge and skills..
thank you.

I think you are at Establishment stage now. Let's say this way syang0901, making a choice in a career is not too difficult but you have to be sure that you won't give up on what you have chosen to start. Career is more about pattern of work experiences that span the course of your life. You'd better be sure that you can do it through the end no matter how hard it is. It's not about how to start but it is how to finish. Don't give up your will and don't be afraid for what you decide to do.

If I were you, I will just stick on my field of interest or have to specialize on a specific field of interest. If I have enough of my savings, I would rather put up my own business.Another option is to take others opinion or help about wnat should I do now, maybe they could let me decide on better choices in my career. But before anything else, I would like to try to be an english teacher and see whether it fits what I really like.Praying to God and asking what's his will for me will be the best thing to do.

a new job will definitely be a new experience...we don't have to be familiar with everything for us to be able to adjust...we just have to think positive and let our own selves enjoy what we are doing...everybody's scared of a new experience but instead of letting it come to you...just stay strong and surely you will be able to love your new job without you knowing...wink!!!

If I were you, I will stay or go to the field that my heart says. Choose the field that you really want to, so that you will enjoy it and never regret it in your entire life. Go and blaze your way to the future which you are really satisfied. Another option is multi-task everything. You will be able to do the same field after the other and in that case, you will not regret. I recently have that problem, i wanted to enroll myself to the course that i really wanted but my parents wont allow it. So i decided that after i graduate I will study again.
I hope it will help you.

if i am in your situation where there are choices to be made, i will go to the job where i can enjoy as well as earn money for me to survive.. i cannot go in a job under the bad economic environment because i cannot also perform my job well because of that bad economic environment.. maybe yes, i will start a new career that i am familiar to it.. if you want to be an English teacher then go for it.. as long as you are happy and contented to it.. ^^

for me, i guess i will try some new fields, for this will also be another challenge that will improve me as a person and will help the economy as well. Lets take the Nursing course for example, few years back, a lot of professionals are shifting to these career, and nowadays, there is a decline with the number of enrolees because of the changes in career demands.. With these moves, a person will be able to help himself and the economy as well with regards to its growth. Everyone must be versatile and be willing to learn more to reach his ambition and be more productive.
