they have done scientific studies that have shown it does give you energy when exercising and etc if you listen to the right kind

music inspires me to be productive/work if i am feeling down, i put on some music and within a few minutes feel mroe 'up beat'

you can think like this,when you feel totally exhausted and tired (whole body and mind) music relax and relife your tension.

There's no doubt about it, that music is a great mood enhancer. Research has proved this many times, and it has been found that students retain more information if classical music is played softly in the background whilst they study.
As a musician myself, I will often go to the keyboards and play for a while and find that I get to be in a much better mood.. :-) Derek

Yep, it sure does. It clears my head especially when I need to do something important. Listening to music and just concentrate on the music helps my mind keep focus and lets me forget about the other things that might distract me. It also keeps me awake when Im really very sleepy and tired but have to finish work.^_^

you r rite buddy, music realy kicks out ur anxiety n freshes up ur mood, ther's no doubt bout it. Whenever i cop with angry or loneliness i surely takes help of music it realy fills a new enthusiasm in you.
