homosexuals?

is it me or is it just that there seem to be more homosexuals than before or they are just more liberal?how come this is happening,u dont see homosexuals in old movies or hear old stories about them,but its like you could see them almost everwhere you go,..
whats happening?

it's not that there are more. it's that it's more acceptable and people are more open about it these days. they are more free to make the disicions to not marry for the sake of making it look good or to satisfy family but to be with who they want.

I think the world is a much more open place than it was even just 10/20 years ago. There are a number of things that were always present but we didnt get to hear so much about them - partly because the media was less advanced and partly because certain subjects were taboo. For example... there has always been domestic violence and child abuse but it wasn't always acknowledged. i dont think there are necessarily more homosexuals, its just that anyone who doesn't conform to the 'majority' isnt as 'frowned upon' so doesn't have to hide.
