So what did you learn?

I look back on some of the activities of my young adult days and I KNOW there is a God. I was sooooo naive and just a little stupid! Some of the things that I did---and lived through cause me to shake my head in disbelief now. Just like skydiving. I wouldn;t dream of doing it anymore, but when I was younger I found it thrilling and exciting. Once I had my children I decided that maybe I should try to stick to activities that will not possibly orphan my kids. No matter what age we are we have learned a valuable life lesson that may allow us to keep living a little while longer......so, what did you learn?

trying to paraphrase Mark Twain here: The older I got the smarter my parents became. Or something like that. I learned that most of what my mom said was valuable and I wish I had listened sooner.
