Okay so I am a stay at home mother of two and I almost never have time to exercise. I finally decided that this month I was going to start working out again. I am wondering though: Do you exercise? How long do you exercise for? How often do you exercise?

hi CRIVAS, my dear freind, i am also a mother of a ten month oldie. i have joined gym but from last one week i cant make it. my baby sleeps at eight in the morning and then she sleeps till eleven or eleven thirty. so i cant go to gym. whole night she is awake. it is so difficult. before it wasn't like this. she use to sleep a little in night and then a litle in the morning. in gaps. but now she is awake at a whole stretch. whole night. we both husband and wife are so tired. i am very regular in my exercises and never use to miss gym. i use to do for one hour every day because after pregnancy i gained weight and i have to reduce it. so i have a restricted diet and gym everyday.

I try and exercise 3 times at the week at the gym. I exercise for an hour at a time, I either do weights or RPM(cycle) class. I feel really sluggish when i can't make it to the gym. Missed a week of it last week, looking forward to returning to it tomorrow. Hope you find the time to work-out. Even if you take the kids to the pool and do a few laps that is great form of exercise.

I have two daughters (although they are in their teens, they still impact a mom's time for herself!) and work from home. I will say it loud and proud -- I HATE EXERCISE! LOL Well I hate anything that is formally called "exercise". I love to dance and be active but I hate when I have to do structured exercise. In the nice weather, I walk outside but, at this time of year, I have a treadmill. It is located right outside my office door so I can't avoid seeing it. Folding one up and stashing it under the bed would be BAD for me - out of sight, out of mind! I walk for an hour a day. I try to do this 6 days per week. I had a hard time keeping up with it over the holidays, with all the extra work and responsibility, but I'm getting back on the horse. My next step will be to incorporate some floor exercise (crunches, leg lifts...).

Hello,Crivas! As you are a stay home mother you might be working all household works by yourself. So what is the necessity of doing exercise. However if you are interested for doing some exercise better do some garden works daily which will help you in two ways.Firstly you will perform physical labor in the garden for about an hour and the second benefit you will derive from gardening is some fresh vegetables and fruit which will supplement your income.thanx.
