What is the difference between a common man & a great man?
...I have often thought of this and wonder what is it that makes a person great or commoner? Is having a lot of degrees and lot of money, makes a man great? And what about a man who is poor but has the heart of sharing, giving and helping out of the
little that he has, and of course, he enjoys doing this service, and has little or no
education at all??... What would you call such a person---- a commoner or a great man??
So friends, how would you like to define a common man and a great man!!!!!!

Its OK to be a common man, and its hard to be a great man. We have difficulty defining great. Is Enstein a great man? And what about Shakespeare? And a cleaner who does his job excellently? In my opinion, Being great is nothing to do with degrees , money or things like that. Its about giving, depending mostly on how much you can do for others.

My favourite definition of a great man is the one which is decribed in this quote by Mark Twain: "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great" Anyone can make another person feel small, that is very easy, but the real challenge is to make other people feel great. In my opinion a great person is a person who is not afraid to help other people become great.
