Grissom going off into the sunset a real good ending to his character

At last we got the best way for Grissom to retire from CSI. He does not have to go to the hospital because his hearing problem is returning, he does not get killed, and his successor gets in a rave and wants to solve the mystery. Instead he goes off to Costa Rica where at last he is united with his one true love, Sarah. Yes things are looking up and Lawrence Fishbourne is playing a character who is studious much like Grissom is instead of someone who blows his top. So to get back at the question, do you think that Grissom and Sarah, etc. will drop by at CSI headquarters to pay a visit once in a while?

I think both characters, Grissom and Sarah, have run it course, so to speak. The ending was beautiful and perfect. Therefore, if they show up in an episode here and there it will spoil the happy ending/beginning they had. But that's just me.

It would be good like a comic episode, sort of like the one where the lab rats where making up a game and where the corpses were talking.

I was thinking of an episode that might work a few years from now. The staff at the CSI finds this little kid wandering around, there has been a horrible murder, and they think the toddler has something to do with it, maybe a grandchild of the victims. So they all take turns looking after him.
Now during the episode he drives them wild, almost knocking over test tubes, getting into files, they try to keep him from drinking one of the contents, they all take a lot of aspirin, and then the kid
The kid takes an interest in the bugs and says "hmmso Hodges or Brass gets on the phone, dials a number and says, "Grissom yes your kid's here all right."

I read in an interview with CBS that both of them will make occasional guest appearances on the show. Like you, I am very grateful to CBS for ending the show the way they did. Losing Grissom was hard enough on us, but instead of worrying about him we have some closure. We know he is safe and well and in the arms of his soul mate. I am happy about that, albeit not happy that he is gone.

Well with the episodes it showed that Warrick was having problems with gambling, etc. but I would like to know what is going on with his son. I do hope Grissom and Sarah show up as a few guest spots (like with pictures of their wedding and the body of the woman they found stuff in the toilet of the hotel where they had their honeymoon.

He's all right. I am not into the "wonderful actor" bit, If he sticks to the studious professor all right, but not if he gets too emotional. Then it will spoil the show. He has to learn from the other CSI agents.

I say he will maybe come back once in a while like guest appearances and maybe some phone discussions of him talking to those still on the show..

I agree it was a great ending for his character. Last night I watched a CSI show from 2000 it was when Grissom first got the job as boss of the unit. It was interesting to see how young they all looked 9 years ago. I hope they do make guest appearances.

I saw the original as well, and watched the one when Sarah made her first appearance after the other CSI agent was murdered. It is so glad that this is a happy ending to their characters (except for the guest appearances and if they do it later, the CSI tV movie.)

I loved the way they had him go off the show! I have not watched much CSI lately but I tuned in to see his last show. I loved that he is walking through the jungle and just looks so content with himself and then he sees Sarah. Then they don't even say anything they just kiss. I don't know if they would drop by CSI as a couple but I'm sure they could bring Grissom back to help with a difficult case here and there if he wanted to come back.

I liked the ending too. I was so happy when he reunited with Sarah, and about time too. I think we will be seeing them from time to time. I think Lawrence Fishbourne is doing ok in the series and look forward to seeing more of him.

I am not sure if my fiance and I have seen this episode. To be honest we don't watch too much t.v., or CSI. However, I think that he will come and go off the show every once in awhile.

I think the way Grissom left was fitting, though still sad. He was CSI, and I have to say, since his leaving, the ratings in Australia have dropped somewhat. it just isn't the same without him.
We have to record CSI now, because Bones is on here at the same time, and my partner likes that as it is anthrolopogical and it is the only show he must watch. I don't mind, as I like it too.
