I've had a great time visiting the Philippines the last few years. I plan to go back at least once a year.
I've seen many beautiful places including Boracay, Cebu, Bacalod City, Angeles city, Subic Bay...
Anybody have any sugestions on other fun places in the Philippines to visit?

[i]I agree with you..I am from Negros Island and my Parents' place in particular is Antulang! We have also a wonderful resort there!

Wow! That's cool, I'll have to make a not and look into visiting your families resort in Antulang. What is the name of the resort. Do you have your own website. I'd love to take a look.
My friend and I spent a few days in Bacolod City on the Island of Negros Oxidental and from there we went to Cebu. First a bus ride, then a ferry, then another bus ride all the way accross the Island of Cebu to the City of Cebu. That was a beautiful drive. The landscape was wonderful, green, with lot's of things to see, including some very old rice trelleses.

[i]Actually, that is not our resort! It is owned by Chinese businessman there!
The resort is called " Antulang Beach Resort" and that is the only website they have!

Thank you for appreciating the Philippines, like you i love to travel and I've seen many places in my country like Davao, General Santos, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo City,Tacloban City, Isabel Leyte,Tolosa, Samar, Bulan, Sorsogon, Legaspi City, Batangas Calatagan, Subic, Baguio city, Banaue, Isabela Cagayan Valley, Tugegarao City, Pagudpud Ilocos Norte, Vigan Ilocos Sur and many places more that I cannot remember and I dont get tire of going back to these places for their unique differences and beauties.
Other countries as well Ive seen a lot and i want to see more places. Thank you God for giving me all these chances to see them all. And I thank you too for appreciating the Philippines. You are welcome all the time.

You sure have been travelling alot more than me. But someday I'll catch up. I've got lot's of time, just not enough money.
You've been to Zamboanga and Davao, I hear it's not safe there for Americans. Is that true?
So many cities.
Maybe we'll meet on the road sometimes.

and puerto gallera is nice view,just try other places
i think refress ur mind and nice vacation to this place here in PI.
exsample if they answer ur discusion here just my lott friends answer them

The country is really a great place to visit. Aside from those places in the Philippines that you have mentioned, you may also try visiting Bataan beaches, Hundred Islands in Pangasinan, hot springs in Laguna, Palawan caves, malls and museums in Makati, seafood markets and restaurants near Mall of Asia, Baguio, Puerto Galera and Bohol.

Yeah that is really true my place is a very beautiful place to be in. Unfortunately we who are living in here is not able to really explore the place like most foreigners do. Seldom are people in here who can really afford going from all those places that you've mentioned above.

Mabuhay.... Thanks for coming back and appreciating the hidden beauty of our country. Every places here has a place where you can relax and unwind. It's up to you to find out. Not all Filipino's had tour the places you got so we can't give much details on it. I like to add El Nido and Coron Palawan, San Antonio Zambales, Sagada Banaue, Batanes, Buhol, Pagudpod Ilocos Norte and Vigan Ilocos Sur. Surely you'll never regret getting into the place that i mention. Enjoy visiting...

Good to hear that you like the Philippines despite the not so good reputation she has... try Ilocos Norte for the white beaches in Pagudpud, to see the oldest lighthouse up north in Burgos, the hometown of former president Marcos in Paoay, and a lot more...if you like the sight of old spanish house and the feel of living in one, try Vigan, Ilocos Sur...for that traditional warm hospitality, great sites and old churches, Bohol Province is a must. to see great variety of marine species through snorkling, Palawan is the place to be. fresh seafood is best tasted here and there's a lot of white beaches too...Samal island in Davao is also a place not to miss. there's one place i am yet to see. that's Batanes island up north. for wakeboarding, go to the Bicol region. i just can't remember if it's in Camarines Norte or Camarines Sur...
