would you use affiliate site to earning extra money ?

I am an affiliate of a few programs. I think it is a good idea if you can get people to go to your link and make their purchases there. It seems a little difficult for me to get people to come to my web site, let alone purchase things from me there. But I think some people may be better at it because they are more outgoing. I have however, used my affiliate link to purchase things myself. Most of the companies will pay you commission, even on your own purchases. So this works out well when it is something you are going to buy anyway!

You're probably better off buying a product at an auction that's fairly popular and selling it yourself(You would be surprised how cheap boxes of stuff go for at auctions.). That way you don't get a commission-rate, but the full profit. I suppose it's easier though to do something like that. It's a lot less work, that's for sure! Example. I did a kind of test. I sold this kind of "electricity usage monitor" and it sold for around $25. Guess what portion I got after everyone was done with it? $0.30. What a big cut, ehhh? haha. Grr! I can see the potential though if you sell kind of bigger products & sell at least 50-100 of them a month(which through the internet if you know how to market a product probably wouldn't be too challenging.. considering how vast the internet is.)

I have tried sites like that before but did not do well with them at all. It is hard to get people to buy things.

i tried a lot of programs but i guess im poor at marketing and hence couldnt attract more cuctomers...result was i was wasting time...those who are good at marketing can earn a lot for affiliate marketing..
