An update on the barn kitties, they are doing better but I think they are going to have to have a full treatment of antibiotics, 10 days. I hate to use these but sometimes it's the only way to stop the illness. Watch out for anything that looks like a cold in cats that go outside.

Oh poor baby kitties. I just finished with all that going through my 15 cats. One of them did not make it. It started with what I thought was a cold in one and I was able to save him but it went through the rest and I ended up not being able to save one. They needed an antibiotic 2x day plus nebulizer treatments. After about a month and a half and 500.00 everyone seems ok. The vet mentioned there are 3 new virus that they cannot figure out and this could have been one of them. Two of the cats got more congested than the others. They were the two that stopped eating and drinking and one couldn't recover. Vet told me I must have brought it in from outside on my clothing from the strays that I feed. I am very careful now.

Yes we had one like that last year in my old house cats. $250.00 and many Vet visits later they both made it but it was close. Glad most of yours made it .
