Do you have a "pet name" for your pet?
Besides their actual name that is...My cats' real name is Loki, but his "pet names" are My Little Man, Sexy Beast, and Sugar-Honey-Ice-Tea head (he he - cause he can be a little brat sometimes)
How about all of you out there? Other nicknames for your pets besides the name you gave them?

I sometimes call my dog Yafa, Pancake, because she lies flat on the floor like a pancake.

Yafa means beautiful in Hebrew. It's a common name for both women and pets. I thought she was the cutest puppy in the litter so I named her Yafa.

Well, I mostly call my cats by their names or diminutives of the name or even versions of the name. I don't often have "pet" names for my cats.
Now, I do have kind of "honorifics" for some of them.
For example, Oliver, when he was 5 weeks old, he crawled onto my face when I had rolled onto my back just before I woke up and actually lay down, his front paws over my nose and his tummy over my mouth. Needless to say, I came awake REALLY quick! So, on the way to take the roomie to work that morning, I told her how he was laying on me, "Like a nose cozy" I described. So, that's one of his nicknames, "the Nose Cozy" we also will call him "the eating machine" because he always comes when there's food being set out, frantically eating, even if he's just eaten.
Rygel also has a couple of titles, "That White-Eared Cat" and "The Cat Who Will Eat Us in Our Sleep." Now, I gave him both of those names because as a kitten he was nothing but trouble, and he was the only one of the 4 kittens with white ears. "You want to know what That White-Eared Cat did today?" I would ask the roomie when she came home from work. Well, the day he got the other name I had taken him to bed for a nap with me and when he woke up, he bit me on my thumb. I told the roomie that he'd eat us in our sleep if we didn't keep food out for him.
Now, a few weeks ago I had to give Pong some anti-biotics and they smelled like bananas. So I was calling the medicine giving "banana-rama" time and Pong "banana-boy." Ping and Pong together are "The Wonder Twins."
When we have a bunch of cats that come in together I tend to give them collective names.
Rygel, Sirius and Orion I called "The Stellar Group."
The 4 bottle babies of 07 were the "Fearsome Foursome."
Tuti and Nef came together and weren't real happy to come into a house full of cats so I call them "The Grumpy Girls."
Taj is actually short for Ta Shuah, Ronnie for Chevron, Tony for Antonio, Star for Shooting Star, Tuti for Tutanbast, Nef for Nefermew, Gabby for Gabrielle, Frankie for Frankenkitty, Roxy for Rockstar.
I guess the only one with a pet name is Nino, and that's Spud.

ok.....one word.....AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
ok, well not a "word". lol.
Those are some cute stories! wow, I wish I had that many cats...but my roommates would kill me if I brought any other pets into the house lol.
LOVE the reference for the fearsome foursome! (I assume you got that from fantastic four...if not, I am SUCH a geeky nerd!)
My sister's dogs' name is "Roxy" too! But more so because she loves the brand name Roxy. Full name is Miss Roxy Rollin DeLorey-Delorey.
Thanks for responding!

I pretty much stick to the actual names of my two current kitties Pyewacket and Kissy, although I often call Pyewacket "Pye-Pye". In the past though I would often call one of my former kitties something else...like Willie I often called "Plume" as he had a real bushy type tail...then there was Taffy that I would call Taffeta....Biddy I sometimes called Duchess Loaf and no idea where that nickname came from, Patchouli I would call Tootie..Then there was "Footie" who was an orange tabby with extra toes, yet his real name was Koshka....mmm....know there were more but just can't think of them
