There are people who doesn't care in squeezing their toothpaste. As long as the paste will come out from the tube it will be fine with them. that's what I am before. I don't care as long as I can use it. But one time my friend suggested that it is better to squeeze it starting at the bottom end so that you will not waste the paste once it is about to empty. And my friend is right. As I start to follow her instruction, I see that I used up all the contents of the toothpaste inside the tube. Great!! What about you? Are the one who doesn't care like me? LOL that was before.. Well, some people have a lot so they don;t need to economize but me I have to because eveyr penny counts. Just curious to hear your story.

Hi, bebs. Yeah... every penny counts, especially the economy now is not that good. I'm the person who doesn't care. I always just simply squeeze the toothpaste. But luckily i have my husband who will squeeze the toothpaste from the end part. So i'm not worried we will waste the toothpaste. I know i make lots of trouble for him, luckily he does not grumble about this. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hmm well I don't do neither of your two options I use the upper area because I just feel like it. I think its a lot easier to squeeze from the top and place the paste on the toothbrush.

Well, my story is that if I am in a hurry I tend to just squeeze toothpaste out, brush and go. It really irritates me when I do this and then when I am home and going to cbrush again, I will push up the toothpaste from the end before I unscrew the cap, so to press all the paste up to the top. Once I have gone through half a tube, I will start to roll from the bottom of the tube up to the top. I tend to usually always squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom to top, unless I am in a hurry. I like to squeeze out every last bit of toothpaste that I can get out. I usually always have another tube available but I like to use what is in the tube before opening another. Doesn't make sense to me not to.

I have always started at the sealed end as far back as I can remember. This is not only to save money but because I don't believe in wasting things and also it reduces the chance of air bubbles and thus the chance of making a mess. I squeeze as much out of the the tube as I can to the point of folding the sides in at the end to get the very last bit I can out.

I squeeze my toothpaste at the end part! Especially when i buy the ones have strips. squeezing it at the middle causes it looks messy and it ruins the stripes! squeezing the toothpaste at the middle can't make it 'stand'. i like my toothpaste and toothbrush set together up in the container.

Hi Bebs08, I am the one who squeeze from the bottom of the tube and my hubby is also doing the same. But my son is doing from the top side so that he can get the paste quickly. But when the tube is getting empty he seeks my help to squeeze the paste. Your friend is right and she helps you to take the maximum utility. Really great.

In what part do you Squeeze your toothpaste? middle or end part? Hey,hello there! Well... uhmmm...I usually squeeze it at the end part of the toothpaste... my mom taught us that so it is kinda my habit now to squeeze it at the bottom part. Besides, if I squeeze it in the middle, I will have to re-squeeze it on the bottom. lolz... Goodluck! Thank you for the discussion and Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

That would work too but it is easier when you start it at the bottom when your tube is new.

end end end.. and it's frustrating whenever my bad just squeezes from the middle. I have a hard time especially when the tube is ending, to squeeze out from the end.

You are right!! it is hard to squeeze when the tube is about to empty if you start squeezing it anywhere. It is easier when you start it at the bottom. good luck.

When I was a child and I use to visit my aunt and uncle. She would always insist that we squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom. I was young and did not really understand. Now that I'm older and have to purchase my own, now I do understand. I always tell my kids squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom.

I squeeze my toothpaste from the middle becasue if i squeeze it from the bottom more paste get's out and it gets wasted. I found the instruction on the paste tube that for better results we have to use it from the bottom but i can't follow what it is written on that.

hahaha don't squeeze it too hard when it is still new!! just do the hard squeezing when it is about to empty. It is pretty neat and economical doing that way.

In my case, it´s just not a matter of saving pennies, I don´t like to waste anything so when it comes to the toothpaste, it really gets on my nerves when I can´t get til the last drop ot if, problem is that I always begin to use it from the middle and when this is done I go down to the botton and start rolling it up, that´s actually how you get to use all of it.

well, that would work too, but it takes a lot of squeezing if you do it when it is about to empty. Hard squeezing.. hahaha I had experience that many times. But when I start at the bottom when the tube is new? it works real fine the tube is about to empty. no hard pushing lol.

I always squeeze from the bottom, I really don't remember how but I guess my Mom has taught me to do so since I remember doing it ever since, like I don't see any other sensible way of squeezing it And yup, it's definitely the more economical way

alright!!! i agree with that. You can really used up everything inside the tube much more if you cut it when it is almost to empty. Lol..

I do squeeze toothpaste from the bottom and day by day i used to fold the bottom of the toothpaste. Previously i used to cut the paste once it is finished and completely take out the paste from it and used. I was little proud of that i've not wasted even a bit. But When my Science mam told that toothpste contains flourine which is getting accumulated at the bottom which is harmful to body i gave up that practise.

I dont know.. I guess it's random.. lol.. I just squeezed wherever the part is. I never notice it but will try later on.. But I think mostly on the mid part. The case of my toothpaste is soft anyway so there'll be no problem in shaping it up back or bringing it back to its original form. I store it in a cool place too..

In my case, when the tube is still full I squeeze in the middle part but then after it is already half full I do it from the bottom then all the way up. End result is still the same, no waste!
