Do you have clear memorable dreams, or do you forget most of yours?

I have read things from many people on line who say they do not dream, I am sure they do they just don't normally remember. Others say they dream, but the dreams are not vivid and clear. Personally I have very memorable dreams. I see faces and colors clearly, I often wake up and remember at least a little of what I have dreamed.
How about you, are a vivid dreamer, or are you one whose dreams don't usually make a memorable impact on you.

Like you i am a vivid dreamer.everyday i am having dreams. And every morning i used to remember my dreams. I have a clear memory of the places, persons i had it in my dream. It seems that we were not in sound sleep. I think we can not remember the dreams when we are in sound sleep, our brain also takes rest in deep sleep. Only in halfway sleep our brain remembers the dreams.

I dreamed almost every night or dawn ut I usually forget what are those. I rarely remember any of them but sometimes I do but they were just peices of the entire dream. I believe these are stemming out from our uncouscious minds since am thinking or remembering some parts of those dreams were things I just didn't pay any attention of but was talking or thinking about it at certain times in a day. However, I also did dreamt of very vivid scenes I can still remember every details in the morning or after sleeping but this happends very rarely.

yes it is a scientific fact everyone dreams, some just don't remember them,
I have had all kinds of dreams, cloudy and clear, and some even prophetic, and I take my dreams very seriously, because I have had many of the prophetic kind.

I am sometimes and then sometimes I am not. I do remember bits and pieces and people that I see in my dream sometimes. But I don't always remember them.

I guess it depends on the dream. I definitely don't remember all of my dreams. But, I do remember quite a few. There are many times that I can't wait to tell my husband about my dream, but by the time I am able to tell him, I have forgotten what happened. It is vivid when I first wake up, but seems to go away. I do seem to remember the very bad dreams though.

Oddly enough most of the time that I dream, I can't remember what I dreamt about. The times that I have been able to remember is usually when I have a nightmare and they are always very vivid. I am able to remember colors, smells, and even the way things feel in my dreams. I sometimes try to write down what I dream about but most times I forget or can't get to any paper in time.

Actually i am also just like you. I do remember most of my memorable dreams. But later on i found out that they weren't dreams at all. We were probably thinking of something with our eyes closed. There is nothing called "dreams". It is just that we think of some fictitious situations (maybe in the company of our friends or relatives) and we enjoy the small small fun and joy in the scenes that come in our mind. Actually we have got some good creative skills of mapping a situation into action/screenplay. Dreams are just thoughts, so we can remember them.

Every once in a while I will have a vivid dream, that I will actually remember and that will affect me somehow. But most of the time I do not remember my dreams. I wake up thinking I had not really dreamt at all. By the way did you know that dreamt is the only word in the English language that ends with a mt.

i remember my dreams alot of the time and some of them seem so real it takes a minute or two when i wake up to shake it completely. i hate when i wake up when i was having a really good dream though and it gets interrupted! i can still remember dreams i had when i was 5 or 6 years old and i am 48 now. some of them really affected me.

Sometimes I do remember my dreams especially if they are good ones or horrible ones. Sometimes, I totally forget everything...

I don't see dreams very often. Or maybe it is right to say: I don't remember my dreams often. But sometimes I remember my dream only in the middle of the day, not exactly after I wake up.
Honestly dreams scare me a little, it uncovers my unconsciousness and not always there I see good things.

Sometimes Iremember all my dreams especially if they suppose to mean something. I am scared to remeber some, becasue they are real scary lol. Yes you still dream it's just it won't be clear or it will be dark and nothing comes to light. Most of my dreams mean something though, so I write them down.

I usually remember my dreams and have many that repeat but with some parts different. There is one where all of the guests in a hotel seem to be coming down for a meal but I am trying to get back to my room for something against the flow!
I had one a few times that was quite vivid about my children coming back and saying they had missed the school bus but I could not get out of bed to take them in the car instead. I felt that I could reach out and touch them but was actually asleep. Then would awake and wonder why they weren't there!

I usually only remember dreams right after waking from them...sometimes if I tell someone right away I remember them more.
Lately I've been having some strange dreams...about people and places that I have no idea why I am dreaming about them...or the person in the dream is supposed to be like Steve, my boyfriend, only the person in the dream looks nothing like him.

I sometimes have had very vivid dreams that I remember for a very long time and others that slip away very soon after waking up. More recently I have been having what might be called directed dreaming where I am partially awake and can actually influence to some extent where the dream is going. Again sometimes I remember these types of dreams and sometimes I just remember that I had a dream but not much if any of the content. While you may think this directed dreaming might be interesting or good, it does not make for restful sleep. I would much rather have the deep sleep type of dreams that just run their own course whether I remember them or not.

I dreamt last night. I am still trying to remember what happened to my dream. I really can't get to remember it. what i can only remember is the character in my dreams. but i can say that is not a good dream. other people says that when you have a bad dream, you should not get to share it because it might really happen, you have to keep it yourself within 3 days,i just don't know if this sayings is true or it is just a belief of old people. i think there is no problem if we are going to follow that saying or not. if we follow it, nothing will be lost. hopefully, i can remember my dream last night, it is really unclear as of this moment.i am still confuse what happen to it.
