Movie Soundtracks! Does anyone listen to them besides me?

i love listening to the music soundtracks from movies. i listen to them to relax, when im studying, on a long drive, or when i need something to fall asleep to...but i seem to be the only one. barely any of my friends share the same interest in them as me. does anyones else out there listen to them besides me? and if so, what are your favorites?

Oh, all the time! They can be the absolute best. For one's with lyrics I usually go with musicals like Rent, Annie, The Sound of Music, and Sweeney Todd. I am a student and I have to have music nearly all the time so to study I use things like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, Ever After, and the calmer songs from Jurassic Park. Some movies just have great soundtracks such as A Walk to Remember - love all of those.

yes! rent and the sound of music are some of my top played. i dont have the soundtracks to lord of the rings or da vinci code so i think i will check those out! harry potter is always a good one too. a walk to remember...switchfoot was the perfect choice. they couldnt have done better.

alright. have you ever listened to the chronicles of narnia and prince caspian soundtracks? they are like the perfect mix of soothing and excitment. i listen to them all the time! mandy moore! i love her voice. something about it just makes me want to keep listening to more and more.

Watch out for Lord of the Rings, some of the songs (particularly the ones around the fighting) are quite "evil" sounding and if you want to relax...avoid some of them. Others are just beautiful. Da Vinci Code is an interesting one because the sound is very unique. Ah, Switchfoot. They were perfect and Mandy Moore has a great voice.

i have never listened to the drea girls soundtrack.
i guess i have never really watched the movie either..

I enjoy listening to soundtracks, too! Especially, for my favorite movies. It's like watching them again but in a more relaxed pace. Thanks for sharing

i have almost every song from a lot of the disney classics and i agree that they are simply the most memorable songs. if you were to get a full collection of them it would be awesome.

Oh i love listening to music soundtracks. I listen to them all the time especially if I like the song or if I am studying. Some of the soundtracks i listen to would be annie,Disney,Charlie and the Chocolate factory, sweeny todd is the newest one basically. I have many favorites that I listen to. I just will not listen to alot of opera. I do love phantom of the opera at times.

!! sweeny todd is an excellent choice. i listen to that when im in an angry mood. have you listened to the music from atonement?
