True Love or Convenience?

Have you ever had to choose between two people who were in love with you and wanted you to be their significant other? One could provide you with everything material that you wanted, but you're not in love with that person. The other person has issues, but you're in love with them. Who would you choose? Would you go for true love and hope it works out or would you dump the person you love for the convenience of being materially wealthy and pray that love comes later?

Maybe I'm too much of an idealist, but I truly don't understand people who even consider material things in relationships. My husband and I have been rich and poor at various times, and there's no differeence in our love for each other.
