jealous parents

so, i got another latest news about my cousin, she already introduced her boyfriend to her parents, and guess what? they got jealous. i dont understand why parents get mad or something when their son or daughters introduced their soon-to-be partners. when its actually good than to hide that they have someone-special. is it because the earned money of their daughter will not be given to them? or they just dont want to give their son away? hmn.. just wondering when i got to that stage.

Truth I don't know why parents get mad my parents are highly disapointed in my choice of boyfriends bt i've attempt to shake it off. I think parents get upset because their worried they will loose their child to their new soal mate. But I just hope that whe I become a mother I Won't react to this situation like other parents do.
