How often do you take a nap? and How long does your nap last?
I took a nap today. I don't usually take them but after I had ate some food I laid down and passed out. lol I slept for an hour and half. i think. it felt pretty good.
I hope i don't have a problem falling asleep tonight. that's why i don't usually nap because then i won't be able to sleep at night but sometimes.. a nap just happens.
have you ever gotten mad at yourself for taking a nap?
I've gotten mad at myself before...when i think about it now.. it's kind of silly.
but sometimes it's not good to nap. taking a nap might make us miss something important.

I don't get to nap now. My work runs from 8 am to 5 pm so definitely there's no time to nap.
I only get to do it during days-off.

I absolutely agree that taking a nap during day time is great; it recharged you and make you more active for the day. I just wish I could have one as I hardly get some. I have a hard time napping at day time and if I do I have a hard time getting to sleep at night.

When I am in school I sometimes tend to nap a few days a week. However, the past week I actually made it without napping at all except for one day. I'm trying hard to avoid napping if possible so I can just go to bed at night, sleep all night and then wake up in the morning. It's really the best thing for me because I have problems sleeping at night sometimes so I'm trying to stay on a schedule.

i can't take naps. i'm constantly tired but if i take a nap during the day i won't sleep at night. it takes me and hour or two to actually fall asleep so if i do lie down during the day i'm there for like 5 hours to actually get some sleep.

Rarely a day goes by that I don't take a nap, and this started back when I was pregnant with my youngest child who is now 12.
I set the alarm for 30 minutes. Now, rarely do I actually get to sleep though. Right now there are 9 of us living in this house...well make that 11 as of tonight. The phone rings, my mom comes down, the kids come down, or they are just making a lot of noise upstairs.

I do like to take a nap after taking the lunch. I usually doesn't take the nap during the afternoon because I have to work on the week days. I usually take nap during the weekends when I am at home. I put my FM player and take nap after my lunch so that I can hear songs while taking the nap. Some evenings during the weekdays I took nap while hearing songs through my FM player.

I take naps as often as I can get them. I love a good nap. Power naps are the best for me. A 20 minute power nap gives me so much energy and clearness of thought. If I sleep longer than 45 mins. it will effect my being able to sleep that night. But I have so many issues lately with sleeping at night that I hardly ever consider that anymore. I grab sleep when I can because I know my body needs it.

I normally don't take naps either, I take them when I have a day off, it is most likely by accident right after I eat as well. I do feel like I have missed out on something when I nap, like I have wasted the day or something but the reality of it is my body needed that rest.

hello sameroad
i do not take a nap everyday, but today was a good afternoon to do just that, and that is what that i decided to do. i had a pancake for my lunch today and after i ate that i got so sleepy about thirty minutes later i couldn't stand it. there was no school here today so therefore i didn't have to go to work either. so tomorrow it is back at it for all of us. and yes, sometimes when i do take a nap, i do not sleep worth a hoot that night and i hope that that isn't the going to be the case with me tonight.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

It has been proven that taking naps for 20-30 minutes results in a boost of energy which will bring a better performance in whatever you do, longer than that will just make you feel really tired and unable to go back to work or anything you´re doing, this is just in theory though, many countries in south america like mine (Ecuador), have the costum of closing the stores at noon and they´re back at 3pm, that´s THREE HOURS of lunch break, that´s insane but it´s a habit, and although it´s usually done in small towns and not in big cities the break tends to be longer than other places and they nap the whole three hours, so much for working hard.

I have long since taken naps in the afternoon in order to refresh myself, after a nap of about 20 mins I feel absoultely refreshed especially if I didn´t get much sleep the night before also it improves your concentration and if you have been having a problem, take a nap and refresh your mind, looking at it with a clearer mind will make it easier to work out.

I take naps a few days a week. I normally take advantage of my daughter napping and snooze for a little bit. I have gotten mad at myself for sleeping as long as I have a few times. I tell myself I am going to just take a short little cat nap and I wake up 2 hours later.

I rarely nap. I have trouble falling asleep as it is, and naps make it worse. But they feel so good! I love laying on my bed in the sunshine, especially on a cold winter's day, and drifting off. Naps are a such a luxury!

Afternoon naps are a daily thing for me. I've taken them for years now. I battle insomnia so I don't sleep well. Plus I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome aka CFS and I'm often tired. I guess since my son is grown and I don't work it doesn't bother me that I nap. If I have something important to do I may skip it, but that doesn't happen often.

as a mother of two, and a full time housewife I dont get naps...and if I do it is a very rare occasion.
I miss the days when my son use to take naps, and my daughter who is one now, never takes a nap... she may take a 20 minute cat nap here and there, but she doesnt like to sleep at all... poor me!! LOL
