why puppy love to sleep when they born?

my dog named bubbles is deliver last last week i never know what is the date she deliver,..then i discover that puppy had a similarity of baby who as born of,.. puppy always sleep,..they need sleep rather than asleep,...they are so cute and i love them actually they are two,... animal make get out your depress when you make bond of them,... never treat animals like slave!!!

I have a 4 month old puppy, he sleeps a lot, when they sleep, they grow hehe. There were some weeks, he slept a lot lot then he became bigger so I think it helps them grow faster.:-)
