How do you fall asleep?

Some people like to fall asleep with the TV on, some cant sleep with it on. Some like to have a light on, some need complete darkness. Some people listen to music, and some don't. So how do you fall asleep best? And can you sleep while being cuddled, or need your space to be comfortable?

Though I like to sleep calm, most of the time I fall asleep with almost at any condition. It has happened sometimes when my wife keeps on talking something at bed without knowing I've gone deep into sleep. (Of course, it has results the next day) I would even sleep while travelling. So space is not a constraint for me, if I feel sleepy. And there were also nights, when I didn't sleep even a minute while everything was calm. It varies from night to night.

You sound a lot like me. I understand what you must go through with your wife in the morning...lol.

I like to sleep in the complete dark room, I feel easier to fall asleep in the dark, preferably not even a dim light at all. I like to get a bolster and a pillow for myself, I feel comfortable with these. Having music on or off is fine to me, but usually I do not turn on music when I am sleeping.

I sleep in the mostly dark, with music on, and when possible a fan or some sort of white noise.. to block out the sounds around me when i sleep. . I used to have to have it absoloutely quiet. but i grew out of that after i had the kids, i just got so tired at teh end of the day i can just about fall asleep standing up!

Music in a pitch black room. I'm a light sleeper, so I need quiet. I can actually listen to metal and fall asleep.
