I am knocking at last day ! How do i react for a layoff call

Hi Friends, My company is started layoff the employees and I could understand that i am also on the list. Tomorrow is a round table meeting where the list of employees propose to layoff has been called off.
Suggest ! What to speak ! What to say ..When i hear the last words of LAYOFF

I hope you've prepared to find a new job. Should have a resume ready, and start making your calls, trying to find a new job. If you don't need a job though, then just relax, and let someone that needs a job go after them.

Its pretty sad, this laying off employees. I cant really joke about such a thing. It hurts. Are you a permanent worker. Do you have trade unions. If so, you are safe, if not, then you cant even protest vehemently. I hope everything goes off well and you are re-instated. All the best, friend. It must be a hard time for you with a family to support.
