Arnold is not necessarily known for his great acting (feel free to disagree with me) but he is known for his famous phrases. He just has this ability to come up with catchy phrases that you will never forget .For example in the terminator he says "Ill be back" and no matter how many times you hear that phrase ,it still sounds fresh. He has other phrases that he uses in his movies.
What are your favorite phrases from Arnold, which movie does he use it and describe the scene ?

Arnold cannot say any catchier phrases in the movies than he has during his govenorship when he said ....:
"I think that gay marriage should be between a man and a woman."
"It's the most difficult [decision] I've made in my entire life, except the one I made in 1978 when I decided to get a bikini wax." –announcing his gubernatorial candidacy on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno"
"She's either Puerto Rican, or the same thing as Cuban, I mean they are all very hot. They have the, you know, part of the black blood in them and part of the Latino blood in them that together makes it." -on California Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, the lone Latina Republican in the LegislatureThese are really profound!!

This is definitely hilarious!!! LOL I must say that his vocabulary is quite limited to sat the least. Come to think of it, the only word that he can find to describe the Assemblywoman is "hot"! What was that all about? I mean she is probably very beautiful but I don't think she like being decribed as the "hot" assemblywoman. I know I would freak out if I were in here shoes. Duh?

I will always remember his all time famous "I'll be back" from the first Terminator movie.
The other one I like is "I Lied" from the movie Commando. He was going after the bad guys who took his daughter. And in this scene, he was holding one of the bad guy over a cliff with his left hand. After threatening to drop him if he did not get the information he wants, the bad guy made a deal with him. Information for sparing his life. So Arnold agreed and got the information he wanted. Then he dropped the bad guy anyways. The bad guy was screaming "YOU PROMISED...." as he fell down the cliff.
Arnold bent over the cliff and said.. "I lied"!
It was one heck of a cool scene!

My favorite phrase that Arnold Swarzenegger is known for is "Hasta la Vista, baby." He said this in either the second of third terminator movie. It is something that has been stuck in my mind ever since.

Well ofcourse I will have to say "I'll be back". It one of the most popular movie quotes of all time! But Arnold has made a ton of these awesome quotes, another one would be "stick around" which he says in the Predator movie right after having nailed a guy to the wall with his knife!

To tell the truth , I'll be back." is the only phrase I remember. What is so funny is that I didn't see The Terminator. The film I remember seeing Arnold in is True Lies.i don't remember any phrases he said in this film. Do You?

My two favorite Arnold lines are
"If it bleeds then we can kill it" from Predator
"See you at the party Victor!" from Total Recall after he rips Victor's arms off.

Hasta La Vista, Baby, which is what the people of California should do, and impeach him. I'm afraid he's going to grind that state down to nothing. Sad.

"Get Down!" - as to which movie this is from? I have no idea, I think he says it in almost every movie he does.
And it gets used often as an impression at my house he he.

The only phrase that I remember him saying all the time is "I'll be back."
I don't really remember that many phraseology from him. It's funny as I don't remember him in any other films saying something repeatedly enough for me to remember.
I did like seeing him in terminator, and the kiddie movies. I like his personality, even though he is better in the action style films. He does try to convey himself in the other genres of the movie industry. He gets a "E" for effort from me in that regard.

"I'll be back" in the Terminator movie is one.. But my most favorite was his funny line at "Jingle All the Way", where he's a very busy businessman and he always say to his customer via phone "Don't forget, you're our number 1 customer!".. Since it was his daily routine before he hangs up the phone and after a conversation, he said that even to his wife..

My absolute favorite Arnie line is from Total Recall, when he travels to Mars and finds his wife there, there's quite a fight going on, with the bad guys and such, and she is a real witch anyways, so he shoots and kills her and says...
"consider it a divorce!"

hi ronnyb! I can only remember, "I'll be back!" and "Hasta la vista, baby!" haha..I do agree with you in the acting department.. but his movies are really money-makers and most actors will just love to have big hits. haha...Of course, who wouldn't? That means more earnings and more movie projects for them. Now, I am regretting why I didn't just started a career in the movies! haha... Just a joke, alright!?
Take care and have a nice day!

When I first saw this question, the first thing that came to mind was "I'll be back." That phrase is going to be one of those that will follow Arnold Schwarzenegger around for the rest of his life. I'm not sure what movie of his I like to watch, but there were a few that I did like to watch on occasion. It's amazing how one catch phrase can be on your tail for a lifetime.

I'm not s big Arnie fan. Since "I'll be back." is the only phrase I have ever heard attributed to him, that's the only one I'm familiar with. I'm sure I've been in the presence of several of his movies; but, I must admit, I didn't pay attention to them...except the one he did with Jamie Lee Curtis & I still didn't pay attention to him!!! He can bore me into ZZZZZZZZs!!!

Hasta la vista, baby. Also from the Terminator. I don't know what it is about that phrase, but I can't get it out of my head.
I dislike overly muscled men, not big on the macho image. But I actually started liking Schwarzie movies. The action ones, at least. They didn't use rape for the stomach twisting reasons why he has to win, they tended to have decent plots, I just found I could get into them more than the other macho movies. I'm particularly fond of Kindergarden Cop. Kids do tend to throw anyone off their stride!
