I have been to England and stayed in many cities. I like England generally but i
like to visit some of the cities and towns again.
I like London but dont like te gongestion on the roads and at the city centre, etc.
I have been to Luton, Stoke, Blackpool, Milton Keynes, Hazelmere and many other - these are great places to visit.
Have you been to England, which place did you like the most ?

I find that nice places to visit are not the best places to live.
I've visited places like York, Salisbury, etc. which are absolutely fabulous when you're just a tourist. I don't think I would ever go and live in one of those places (unless somebody offers me a great job with an even greater salary).
To live, I to like Chester a lot.

I would agree with your first replier. I live on the outskirts of Bristol in the South West of England. It has a great history so is good to visit (although some was built with the wealth from the slave trade - not our finest moment but part of our history). So is good to show to our guests. It has good communication routes to all parts - further south where my son is at university; Wales; and a straightforward route to London or ferry routes for holidays ourselves. It also has an international airport. It is good for variety of job opportunities, has reasonably priced housing and lots for the children to do but has countryside on the doorstep.

I live in Bristol too and enjoy being close to Wales, especially Cardiff which is a lovely city. I also love the Roman museum not far away in Carleon.

I live in England and there are loads of great places to visit. We always holiday in the UK. I love Lincoln, that's where I was born and has its famous castle and cathedral. I now live in Bristol. I love Cambridge too. There are wonderful museums to visit, theatres, art galleries, churches, etc. all over the country and you can find big cities or quiet country villages all over.
