Go to the apple website to watch trailers. The quality there is a lot better than the quality on youtube.
Trailers usually tell me if I am going to the enjoy the movie or not. But sometimes a trailer make a movie look really good but when you go see that movie you are disappointed because the trailed got you all hyped up.

I love watching trailers. I don't typically use YouTube to watch them though, because the quality is often bad.

Add to that the time wasted in waitng for the clip to load completely to enjoy it in its entirety when you have a slow internet connection. It puts you off more than it makes you appreciate the oncoming movie's storyline. Isn't it?

I do usually like to watch trailers of movies before actually going to see the movie. I think it can give a little bit better idea of what I'll actually be watching when I see the movie, and also helps me to decide whether or not it really does look like it will be interesting and worth my time/money!

Isn't that the whole concept of why trailers of movies are released months before the actual movie release?
As I said in my earlier comment to one of the responses to this discussion, its their marketing gimmick to invite the audiences to watch the movie. It works best when a trailer arouses the interest and curiosity of the audiences.

Go to apple movie trailers they have trailers to upcoming movies. That's were my fiance goes. It kinda depends to me on trailers once you see them you think the movies is going to be about whats on the trailer but it turns out to be something totally different

Hello erricaalisa.
I too have gone through that experience sometimes. Its what they call the marketing gimmick. It sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. By that I mean, it leaves you sometimes laughing and sometimes swearing, lol.

Hello Lindery.
I do watch hollywood movie trailers before I go to watch them. For hindi or Bollywood Movies i rely on reviews in Times of India and then decide whether to go and watch the movie.
(This is my first post in this interest section, lol)

i often search for my favorite artist or genre(on drama wiki) then i read the synopsis and decide if i'll watch it or not..sometimes i watch movie trailers and it also helps me to decide whether to watch it or not(like action and horror), and SOMETIMES it helps me understand the movie or series..but if you really want to understand the story of a movie or series i better read the synopsis.
