Lately I have made some major changes. I am budgeting our income and trying to get our debt down. I really need some advice on this. How do i get my husband to be more willing to work with me. I've explained to him several times that this will make our lives easier in the future. Also it will help our children learn how to handle money differently than we have been. Anyone got any clue. Help Please!!!

Well, make sure that you do the family budget with him. This way, he'll see where everything goes and would finally see that bills are really part of your lives. It doesn't disappear after he gives the bill envelope to you. Also, it may work if you ask him to list things that both of you could save for like: a vacation, a new something; maybe this would make him more cooperative in your quest to trim your expenses and save more money.

I think I will try that but with picture. Let me explain. My husband is a visual person. A list is just a list to him but maybe if I get elaborate and make a collage of pictures of the things we want and hang it in view every day. And title is OUR DREAMS!!! Maybe that will be the umpph he needs to get involved.
