Laptop charger

I think the normal laptop charger is 70W but i have seen 80W, 90W and even 100W why there are many models for the same 18V 3.5A. What is the use of having higher wattage charger.

Wattage is the ammount of electrical power an appliance draws. Some laptops draw more power than others. Usually the more high end ones with more powerful cpus draw more power than a low end laptop, thus needing a power supply with a higher wattage rating.

OK but i all the Laptop battries of one company are alike just take the example of HCL laptops we can find the rating the battrey for all mobels of HCL are same but the chargers are different wattages.

It's not so much anything to do with the battery. The wattage doesn't make a whole lot of difference when charging a battery. It's really mainly for just when running the computer on mains power.
