what do you mean by success

Once you have fill the contentment in my life... you are successful

To me, Being successful in life, is loving what you do, and achieving your own personal goals, and doing as God would have you too, also, it is a requirement not to be intentionally lazy or a burden on society without good cause.

success can be measured in many ways. for a mother like me who doesn't earn so much but has children who are talented (with the grace of God), my measurement of success is this: though I am indebted so much, I sacrificed for the studies of my kids. 2 are now finished and are both licensed professionals. in the philippines, children who studies in University of the philippines and the university of santo tomas in manila is quite a treasure hence, can be measured a success in a certain degree. correct me, if i'm wrong.

In my opinion meaning of success is different for different people. It depends upon your priority in life and if you are able to reach your goal, you are successful. Name, fame and money are the three things which usually people think as pillars of success but very few people achieve them. This does not mean that others are not successful. Feeling of success comes from within and if you feel that you have succeeded.

You are right in defining success in this way. There are some people who say success means earning a lot of money. But that is being rich only, not being successful. Being rich is rather a term that means external and materialized for them. But being successful is a different matter. For me, being successful also means I should feel full in my heart. My talent is being used in a useful and self-fulfilling way.

You can not really define success, except maybe for yourself. There are people in this world who are so money driven that they will do whatever they need to get to the top and get a substantial amount of money. When they get there they might not have any friends or love, or even be happy in their life, but they may feel successful for achieving the goal they set for themselves. I define success for myself as a good career, loving family and friends, and yes money. Money is a necessity and the more the better. You have more freedom with it. Freedom to do what you want when you want in your life is also a measure of success for me.

You are exactly right.Many people things that ,rich people are the successfull ones.But the real fact is not that.I say ,being happy in life is more important than success.Success is not that everyone claps their hands for you,or not everyone like to follow you.Success is about your self satisfaction.I you feel satisfied for something you did and you are the successor.Now I am a successor after responding to this.
