I see a lot of babies who keeps crying all day, they just doesn't stop. One of my cousin has a little 1 year old baby girl, she is really pretty and sweet but when she starts crying, i swear my head starts paining, you can actually hear her voice all around, sometimes starts crying in the middle of the night, and it really irritates me a lot. I don't know how my cousin deal with her. Babies doesn't look nice when they cry, i wish if there could have been something that keeps them always smiling..!!lol

I agree with cheryl tht baby is uncomfortable that is the only reason they cry. How old is the baby, if its older than a year then may be she cries for the attention too. Then talking to her in a calm soothing manner and making smiling faces does help. I have been lucky , my both kids were nver a cry baby. I made sure that I slpet next to them till they drifted off to deep sleep then also, I used to place my one finger in their hands and eventhough they didn't understood then or even were not listening I used to tell them how much I love them and will always be there to look after them. Somehow, they were secure kids and never toubled me and always woke up with a smile.

my aunt has great kids too. like yours, they rarely cry. but my aunt sometimes pinch them a little bit (not to abuse them that is) once in a while and let them cry for awhile because crying actually helps strengthen the heart! it sounds cruel though so she doesn't do it in front of public or if there's people around. the doctor actually told her to do so.

i have never heard of it. Why would a doctor tell someone to pinch babies..?

I also have hard o dotors suggesting to hit the baby on foot as you hit a sticker in carrom just with enough force to make them wake up if they fall asleep while feeding. My kids never woke up even then though and I didn't had the heart to do that to often too. For me wrapping and unwrapping the wrap cloth around the baby, worked better.

actually babies crying only when they have some problem generally a pain in their stomach and when they do not stop crying one should look after the matter closely you can monitor babies hand movement, find out where he or she is touching which part of body then their must be some problem or even pain, in case of stomach ache they generally lift their legs up in such time you can give baby drops which can be brought after consulting with pediatrician only

Hello There!
Actually, I really do not like hearing baby cries especially if it is too loud and when he/she doesn't stop doing it. It is not because I don't like kids or I get irritated or something.. in fact I love kids but they get me scared if they cry so hard and will not stop no matter what I do. I just can't stop feeling helpless because I cannot tell what is wrong with them. lolz.
Happy Mylotting and Have a great day!Cheers!

I don't like it when babies cry even when it's not my fault. So most of the time I hang around and see if the cutie will stop so that we can play again. but if the bay continues on with a tantrum, I'll just walk away. i don't like dealing with babies who cry because I don't know what they want. I'm not a mom so I don't know how to soothe a baby just yet.

I wish my future baby will not cry much as I also don't like baby crying. It cause big headeche, if baby cry, he probably want to eat or pea or feel uncomfortable, it's very strange why god just give a baby strong ability of crying, but not laughing? If baby always laughing, how sweet,haha...

Yes it is very painful to see a babby crying, due to certain reasons they cry u find the reason fix it and the babby will smile.
Some think when a babby cries it is good for there health it gives strength to lungs, I don't know how far it is true.
But when one see a babby crying he tries to make babby quite.
When a babby smiles he or she looks best thing on this earth.

I think there are many reasons for a baby to cry. In the past when my son was a baby, I felt quite frustrated when he cried. I was afraid that he didn't feel well. At first you can try to give him milk or water. If the baby still cries, then you will check whether his diaper is wet. And you have to check whether the temperature is fine for him. Usually when you take a baby outside, he will stop crying. If it doesn't work, then perhaps it's better for you to bring the baby to go to see a doctor.
I love China

The baby normally cries. It is their way of communicating what they want or feel. But if the baby is crying all day long then there must be something wrong. You should check if the baby is still okay or else bring to the doctor. It is no longer normal.

Well since I am a first-time-mom of a baby boy I suffer this all the time especially now that he is teething. What I tend to do is first see if he is hungry, needs a diaper change, try putting some teething pellets or baby orajel on his gums to see if that might be the cause of his crying. My last resort is trying to soothe him with his pacifier to fall asleep and if that doesn't work he will be placed in his crib to find his own sleep even though he cries he has to learn that if we have tried to help and all he wants is to be carried that it won't be tolerated.
