Skiing or Snowboarding?

Which is harder to learn from a beginners standpoint? Which is more fun?
I have never been snowboarding, but I have gone skiing a few times. So from a completely bias position I think skiing is much harder to learn. After all isn't it harder to control two separate things than it is to control one?

i think snowboarding is harder to learn. i've been skiing since i was 5. at about 13 i tried snowboarding and i just couldn't get the hang of it. you need more balance than skiing.

i have never been skiing, but i have been snow boarding. i found it pretty easy to learn. after about an hour and a half on my first time, i was able to go down the bunny slopes without falling
