Which do you prefer, blogging or article writing?

I have several blogs and I write for a few sites also. I personally enjoy my blog sites the best as I think it is easier to write a blog post than an article. Perhaps this is because blog posts can be short and witty whereas for some sites articles need to be at least 400 words.
Mylotters which is your favourite, or does it depend on how much they pay you?

I do enjoy writing- in any manner. Whether it is for forum, blog, article, etc. But I am not a professional. I am still finding my ways on how. Sill developing my skills. I do have blogs and write for other sites.

I write articles. I have had several blogs and have struggled to maintain them. I like the freedom of article writing better. It doesn't matter if I don't write an article for weeks. It will be there when I get back to it. I have also made quite a bit of money from writing and only ever made money blogging by writing sponsored posts (something I never really liked doing).

I love blogging and am thankful to have a couple of blogging jobs. That way, when my mind is too tired for something researched and rigid like an article, I can just spout on about my views or interests for the given topic of the blog. I also like the idea that readers are more likely to respond to a blog post in comparison to an article. Despite the comments feature being available on a variety of articles I write, rarely do I receive comments on articles in comparison to blog posts. That aspect of the two has always interested me.

It depends on the topic I'm writing about. I find that with articles you basically have to sneak or incinuate what your opinion is because some site won't pay you for your opinion. I love to speak my mind and mylot lets you do that.

How on earth do you manage to maintain SEVERAL blogs? I used to have a weekly entertainment column in a local paper a few years back and it was all I could do to come up with something ti write each week! How many blogs do you have total and how often do you post to them?

I prefer to write blogs because it is what I want to write about. Many articles can't be about what I want or they get denied when they are about something they don't think is a popular subject or whatever. My blog posts can be short or long depending on my mood, my favorite are longer ones though, they get my point across better.

I prefer blogging because I don't have to fill anybody else's requirements, and don't have to think about SEO. But articles are where the money is, usually. I'm going to try to monetize my current blog once it has enough traffic, but it's not on a popular subject, so it's probably never going to be very profitable. But any money I earn by writing is a supplement to my income, so whatever I do make helps with the rising cost of living and gives me some savings for emergencies.

Personally, i prefer blogging.. i've been blogging for almost three years and i'm grateful for having blog opportunities.. =) i've tried writing an article and i can say that it's a hard thing to do as you need to write 300-500 words, you need to know the SEO thingy, etc..

I prefer blogging. I have several blog site where I place useful information. I don't earn money with my blog but if I could, I would choose to earn money with blogging than with writing articles.
Blogging doesn't ask as big discipline as writing articles do.
