Tucker has been missing since December 23rd from my hometown of Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
He is believed to have been grabbed out of his owner's truck, and is likely not in the area anymore, so I'm sending this out in the hopes that it might reach someone who knows about his whereabouts, or for someone who might stumble across him at a friend's or the like.
His family misses him quite badly. So badly in fact that they've put posters and billboards covering our entire city in the search for him and have now increased the reward for his safe return up to $10,000 CAD, no questions asked. He can be dropped off at any SPCA if the person who has him is uncomfortable coming forward, and his owners have promised to donate the $10,000 to that shelter to help other animals.
Tucker is a male Miniature American Eskimo/Shih Tzu, pure white with slightly tan ears and weighing 15-20 lbs. He has a bacterial infection in his ears and needs medication for it.
Keep an eye out for him. Dawson Creek is a northern BC community right on the British Columbia/Alberta border, located a few hours south of the Yukon. It is Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway, and is part of the Canadian portion of the PanAm Highway which means this little dog could be anywhere by now: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Washington State, Oregon, Idaho or Montana. Even points beyond, since he's been missing for almost a month.
If you feel so inclined to call your local shelter or vet clinic and give them a heads up, again it's more than appreciated, although as more time goes on, the search area expands and they may already know.
Also, if you have other animal lovers on your mailing list who might be willing to keep their eyes open, feel free to forward.

I am very sorry to hear that. Good luck to you though in your search for the lost dog.
