Hello to all those first-time-moms that are troubled with the post baby weight. My concern is that I have alawys been careful of being on a diet and staying in shape, so when I got pregnant and gave birth to my baby boy all the clothes I had before my pregnancy don't fit and my trouble is that I have nothing to wear but I plan on losing weight so If i do go out to shop for clothing that will fit me now I will lose all that money when I lose weight to buy other clothes. So, is it ok for me to buy some clothes that fit me well now while I lose the weight I want?

Hi xtine,
You can do that and later just try to sell those clothes! I know you can always find buyer after losing some weight! Enjoy!

Mine is the same. At first, I decided not to buy any new clothes until I get back to my formal size. But then, I feel bad without new clothes. So I tried to shop a few pieces and they made me happy. Now I'm working hard to lose weight but it's never easy. Besides, some one say that it's not a good idea to lose weight in winter's days. I think I'll go for it little by little until summer and then I'll be able to enjoy shopping again.

I probably would buy expensive clothes but you still have to feel good about yourself until you lose that weight, as weight loss does happen little by little, I would buy maybe a few things that might even be altered later on...

Of course it's alright. You obviously have a thrifty streak which is wise, so the key is treat yourself right to clothes that fit, you just don't go overboard and buy a huge wardrobe for each stage.
It's depressing and uncomfortable to wear clothes that don't fit and don't flatter. That makes it all the harder to get to your goal of getting the weight off..
The other one who replied had an excellent idea of clothes that could be altered. They will be good for dropping a size or two without having to buy new clothes.
Congradulations on having your baby boy.
