how did you tell your parents that your pregnant?

I got pregnant when I was 23yrs old. I had a really strict father and it took me 3 days to think about how to approach my parents regarding my pregnancy situation. All I did was make sure that both my parents are in a good mood. I when to my mother first and told her that I was pregnant. Her initial reaction was... she got angry for a bit and then settled down. My mother told my father about me being pregnant. To my surprise, my father was actually very calm about the whole thing. I thought I was going to be scold and screamed at so badly, but that didn't happen, It was actually the other way around. That was a really big relief for me. My father said: that baby is there and we can't do anything else But to accept it. Later that day, my boyfriend (currently my husband) came to the house to talk to my parents. All four of us sat down and had a long chat about our future plans. Everything went well. So, to put it simply I told my mother first... that was my plan... hope this helps
