I just think we're lucky that the only honest and ethical man in Illinois politics was the one that made it to the White House. :~D

Well I don't know a lot about him but what i have heard from his mouth is that he wants change .....He would like to build the bridges back that has been destroyed by racism...He wants this nation to bind together & work together toward a change for the better....He wants us all to become one and to be united...As most of us know that the african americans have been abused in the past, they were treated badly & used as slaves in times past..The Black race has had to fight for their freedom...The ones of us living in this day and time was not guilty of this abuse, but our white ancestors were....So Our President knows that we are not responsible for that in these days and times..Mr, Obama is part black & part white and i feel he would like to bind those wounds between the afican americans & the white race...He want us to come together as one & be equal and he wants to make changes for the better...We are all equal in Gods eyes and we should all be equal,we should not hold grudges & we should not be predjudgist...He would like to end that and become one nation fighting to better our united States....I listened yesterday as he was sworn into his presidency & i admired his words..I feel he is a good man and will do his best to make these changes that we have so long needed...This was a big victory for the Black race, they have fought hard to get to where they are..This will be our first Black American president and this was a big change in our nation...Mr Obama is the perfect person to bind up the wounds of this nation because he is both white & black....We must pray for him that all will go well....

Obama is that innocent man who had set out to become the President of the United States but has found himself the President of the Whole World.
Obama has unwittingly put on his own head a heavier burden than have been the case with all his predecessors. While his predecessors faced the simpler task of minding American interests only, Obama has got to balance the conflicting interests of the whole world without harming the specific ones of the US. What a task!
Moreover, Obama is the man to prove that he is truly the fulfilment of that dream by MLK. If he fails, the dream becomes a nightmare, and the black race reverts to its former position.
Obama, therefore, is the man the whole world is praying for and looking up to to accomplish his Herculean task of reconciling the conflicting interests of the world, and restore peace and harmony to it. He is the Prophet of our own time.

Well I think he is going to do very well. I'm sure he will be better than Bush. He will change something! I don't think he is going to bring America back, 4 years is not enough to do that.
But he can start with change, and we can be proud that a 'Afro-American' became president, that's also a wonderful thing....

I was late in this discussion Barrack Obama is the new President of America. I do not know him but through media only. I hope he is the solution to America's problem and also wish he could see problems of different country and he can help them. I wish also all his staff will help them in decision making and Americans support him.
