I get anoyed on who many people obess over their weight. The people that 'feel large' anoy me most, because 9/10 time they are not! Just because they do not look like a skinny catwalk models they feel that they are 'fat'! Not every one in the world looks like that, and i think the whole whole celebraty skinnyness and catwalk model, pressures most people in losing weight, as they feel that, that is the 'look to have' News for you! thats not the only look in the world, I think any one can be beautiful no matter what size they are. I dieted for ages trying to lose weight and look like cat walk models, but truth is, that's just not me. My body wasn't built to look like that. And i am happy because of it. I am a size 12/14 i stand at 5ft9 and weigh 11 stone, and i do not have a problem with any of it anymore, even though i am larger than my size 8 friends, i am happy at the weight and size i am. You only live once so i don't why people would obses their whole lifes to super skinny. All's i do know is eat heathy, and exercise, by walking ad virtualy walkin any were and every where. I think that as long you are happy with your weight/size, (and not happy because you think you have 'the look') thats all that matters. Any way, what's your views on this? and do you think that catwalk models and celebraties pressure teenages & adults to have 'the look' i am looking forward to the responces. :)

I worry about my daughter being influenced by the media and thinking the same things. So we just really work with her and her personal image so she will not think that she has to look like all the people she sees on tv and in magazines. We praise her for the good things she does and not by how she looks.

Quite honestly, I don't need to loose any pounds even to be at my ideal weight, but I do need to do some exercises to tone up certain areas. These models and celebrities don't influence me one bit, but I have grand daughters and great grand daughters, some just children who are being poisoned by this notion that women are supposed to be rail thin and gaunt to be beautiful. That's what concerns me.
