I think above what 70nyh0Ax had advised, you will need to look at your connection speed, that your computer is not infected with virus and infested with adwares, malwares, or spywares.
There are also issues like hardware setups i.e. RAMS, CPU and etc., and application(s) and/or software(s) having conflicts with your Operating System. Last but not least a non updated Operating System where essential patches are not uploaded and present in your current computer.
Hope that you are wary if these areas and that they are not acting up in your computer and affecting your accessing speed.

Well akangirl this shows that you really don't know much about computer. Well if is sell my laptop even it become second hand. Its myth that second hand is all crap.
Well do settings which I've given you to increase browsing speed that's it. So have fun akangirl.

Have you tried using addons? A wide variety of addons are available at the mozilla site. They really make your browsing faster without actually speeding up the browser.They simplify all the common tasks. Try them...
