how will ur life without ur parent?

I have to admit that I think about it when I'm angry with my parents or they are really frustrating me. I realize that I'd rather have them to fight with or disagree with than to not have them at all. They are wonderful people and have proven time and again that they love my siblings and I but just like any family member, they can really get to me sometimes. But do you ever stop to think about all the ways in which your parents are a part of your life? Do you go to them when you don't know what to do about a difficult situation? Do you call one of them when something hilarious happens to you? Do you call them when you just need comforting words? Or anything of that sort? Imagine what it would be like not to have the option to do any of those things. I couldn't even begin to imagine how miserable I'd be without my parents and have to imagine what they would tell me in a difficult situation instead of actually being able to stop by their house or give them a call. That's another reason why I'm so flabbergasted when you hear about people killing their parents.
