How fast can you speed. My speed varies, depending on type of words, sentenses i am writing and also whether it is copy-typing or just data inputting, etc.
What is your speed?

What I found is, I can type with a speed of around 40 words per minute using the two fingers (forefingers of both my hands) while that using all my fingers is just 15wpm.
But the benefit of the latter is that we don't need to see the keyboard while we are typing!

i type 30 words per minute but if the keyboard is small i can not type, the speed decreases because small keyboards are not comfortable for me to type fast.
i have done a lot of practise with typing softwares and learnt how to type fast i wish i can improve the speed of typing.

My average typing speed is about 70 - 75 words per minute, when it comes to mere typing. (I mean just typing a pre-printed document.) If it comes to anything like answering at MyLot it would be about 45 - 50 words per minute.
I've been working for nearly 21 years with typewriter or computer. I started my career as a Typist.

My top typing speed is about 25 words a minute - that's if it's easy going, mostly short words and very little special characters. Not very fast, I admit, but at least I can type with eight fingers, and I can type without looking at my hands. Usually, I think it's probably around 18 words.

im a pretty fast typer but im not sure of the exact wpm. I get alot slower though when it comes to big words i cant spell and putting in commas periods and capatal letters. im not very used to that yet, but i have a texting cell phone so it helps my speed alot lol
